Archie's Family Golf Centre

It’s a great place for beginners and if you are looking for value. The 9 hole course has shrunk to 6 holes now, and the course is a bit in rough shape. Most holes range from 100 yards to 190. The staff is great, friendly and they have a nice little shop with updated stock. Their driving range has a nice view with a big pond eating up majority of balls. No practice greens to work on your short game, fairways and tee blocks are covered in clovers, and the greens have seen better days. This is difficult. The small shop seems good, but expensive, and the driving range looks good. The issue I have is the mini golf...terrible and my rating is only on this. It needs serious upkeep and some of the "holes" are too shallow. If you go for mini golf, don't waste your time EDIT: I do stress this is on mini golf only. I look forward to your re-vamps and hope to see them posted on your site.

This review is only for the mini putt. It definitely needs some major updating. It looks exactly the same as 20 years ago but they just re painted. The sides of cement are missing pieces and chipped. The greens are all lumpy and uneven and the balls roll off to the edges always, makes it alot less fun. Maybe if they update it for real I'd go back.

Always friendly staff, property is always clean and tidy. If you want a place to take your children this is it. Great fun and excellent ice cream

The mini put was challenging because the greens are wavy and not flat.

Archie’s is a great place to go to practice your golf swings. It’s also a great entertainment area for the kids to play. It’s a great family activity. My only concern/comment is that it is very disturbing and unpleasant to smell cigarette smoke as your enjoying your activity. Smoking should not be permitted at the driving range and especially where children are playing. You should have a designated area for people to smoke.
