In summary

Batteaux Creek Golf Club is appreciated for its attractive layout and generally well-maintained fairways and greens, providing an enjoyable golfing experience for both casual and avid golfers. Many visitors commend the friendly and accommodating staff, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some guests have raised concerns about inconsistent course conditions, particularly with the greens and bunkers, and have experienced issues with customer service, which detracted from their overall experience.

Great course! Played last weekend in September, and the Greens and fairways are in very good condition. If they were damaged recently, I couldn't tell, as they seemed to have recovered nicely.  Bunkers could be a little softer. I was concerned after I booked a tee time and read some of the reviews, as I have never been here before, but I was pleasantly surprised.  Big fairways, pretty course, not too difficult. I liked that they had a yellow tee block option between white and red. Staff were really friendly. Not cheap, but reasonably priced for a course in this area.

Overall course experience 4/5. Overall staff experience 1/5. I really enjoy playing this course. Fun layout, good public course conditions and value available to the public. However, the Staff are a bunch of unfriendly weirdos. Never felt welcomed or appreciated there as a regular customer. Quite the opposite actually which is bizzare to me as someone who worked in the golf industry for 8 years (@ courses much higher tier than this). Becuase their staff are generally older folks, they've developed this attitude that they are justified in calling everyone off the course due to "liability reason…

The course layout is excellent! 1/3 of the greens are so badly damaged and have bare patches that its almost impossible to find an area that is completely covered with grass to putt. The bunkers are hard and firm and there are bunkers with weeds growing out of the. Anything more than $50 to play here is way too much! Golf North, are you listening? Invest into this place and it will be a gem. No need to go back for a while

A great layout, and the course was in great shape. The bunkers sand was hard in most traps, but the traps were still in better condition than a lot of courses I have played this year. The staff were friendly and helpful. A great day overall.

We very much enjoyed our day here. Great course layout and staff were all very friendly and helpful! The fairways need some attention. The greens are in good shape minus the lack of people fixing their ball marks. We were the only group out on the course and finished in 3 hours. Very enjoyable afternoon.

This course is fantastic in quality of golf as well as condition of course, and I want to share how AMAZING this course was for my own Bachelor Party weekend where we played 3 rounds over 3 days. The course is in great shape and not an impossible course to score well on. That being said, it is not easy either. It allowed us to have a mix of low and high handicap golfers compete and not be miserable losing balls or 6 putting on each hole. The condition of the course was also fantastic. Very walkable and fairways and greens were perfectly kept. The most important part that I want to share is…

Last Saturday played the seriously damaged course with 6-8 greens unputtable, bunkers overgrown with weeds. All these problems for $120.00, no warning about poor conditions, no reduced green fee. Never going back…

Played a round on last week. Course is in great shape. Some greens were recovering from some issues. Found pro shop staff to be lovely, Linda was great!

I golfed here for the first time today. Loved the course and looking forward to this being my go-to course in the area now that I’m a permanent resident here in Collingwood.

Our group played there last fall, and it was an overall good experience, which is why we returned to play again this year (Sept. 27th). Unfortunately, this year was not a positive one. For the course itself, the greens were in terrible shape, which I would give them a pass on this late in the season. But the real negative was the Clubhouse/Proshop staff, who were dismissive and unaccommodating. We had a group of 8 players, booked weeks before, and I was quoted a price by Will of $113 all in per player. I confirmed this price again. Upon checkin, we were told and charged $120. When I questioned…

Course was okay. A lot of burnt grass especially on the greens. Bunkers are not clean. Tee times were 10 minutes behind schedule and too close together. Was waiting almost 10 minutes on every tee box. Was my first time there and was disappointed.
