In summary

Monterra Golf at Blue Mountain Resorts is frequently praised for its beautiful, well-maintained course, challenging layout, and scenic views. The staff is often described as friendly and helpful, contributing positively to the overall experience. However, some visitors have reported issues with customer service, particularly at the clubhouse, and find the pricing to be on the higher side, especially given the course's condition compared to other nearby options.

Beautiful course, but Monterra Golf at Blue Mountain Resort needs serious improvement in customer service. The manager at the clubhouse/pro shop was extremely rude when I asked a couple of simple, legitimate questions — including eye‑rolling and a dismissive attitude. As a business owner, this behaviour is unacceptable. A resort of this size should be investing in proper customer‑service training for its front‑line staff. The course itself is great, but the experience at the clubhouse left a very poor impression. I hope Blue Mountain Resort takes steps to better train and support their staff…

Group of 8 played. Challenging course, in great shape. Even though greens had been aerated, they were fast and true. Recommended.

Travelled multiple hours to this course for a golf trip, ultimately played 36 holes. It rained on the course for approx 10 minutes. They “closed the course” mid-round and demanded we head to the pro shop. Allowed us to continue to play two holes as a “favour from Allister” eventually kicked us off the course after the course was clearly playable without issue. Awful customer service, terrible attitude on the starter Dino. Would NEVER return to this course let alone Blue Mountain in general which changed our lodging without notice. Don’t come here. They don’t want you here.

Nice course, open fairways and nice greens. Cost is just over $100 during the week which is not bad for a nice course and location, very close to the village.

golfed on a Wednesday afternoon. Price was about $117 per person, including a cart. Friendly staff on the well stocked pro shop as well as the starters out front. Most fairways lined with grassy moguls, which was okay but grew repetitive as the round went on. Thick rough bordering the fairway really penalizes a missed shot. The course winds its way through the neighborhood with occasional views of the ski hills. There is nothing wrong with the course, but it's probably not a place to rush back to with so many other courses in the area.

Was out this past weekend with my Brother and my Father and played 18 holes. The course is surrounded by beautiful views and stunning homes! The course itself was in great shape. However, this course can be rather challenging at times. The greens are tiny and the fairways are very unforgiving. Be sure to load up on spare golf balls prior to starting your round as there's rrally no short of areas for one to lose a ball or 2 (or 7 haha). And I'm not just saying when the ball lands out of bounds, no, but even in the rough, just 3 yards off the fairway I ended up not being able to locate my ball o…

$120+ to play mid September for that course is very pricey. Course is not impressive at all and is very bland. Also seems that they try to rip you off any chance they get - typical blue mountain. Charged me $18 for 2 Powerade’s and a bag of chips?? Batteaux Creek and Lora Bay make this place a joke especially if you consider what you pay for those courses

Played the Canada Day special rate of $89 which was a really great deal. A well-maintained course and the staff were all very friendly. Our 3rd was running late so one of the staff, Karyn, carted him over to our hole to catch up with us, which was really great. Thank you!

The golf course is good shape/design if not great. Its green fee is high considering the considering its quality. However, that is part of nature of anything around popular resort.

This was a beautiful course. Challenging but fair! Price is a bit steep but you are paying for location/convenience so it's understandable. No driving range but they do have hitting nets and a large chipping/putting area. Staff were very friendly and the carts were equipped with GPS, which is always a nice touch. Course was in great shape.

This is a short track designed to keep your driver out of your hands. If you play the blue tees you will need to carry 250 on a lot of holes or layup with a 4iron. I would play a tee back during future rounds. Very tight course with lots of beautiful well lain out holes. Good maintenance. Great staff. I would play this course again!

Third time playing this course and absolutely love it. Staff is great, course was in great shape. Roughs were a little high, but may have been due to the recent deluge of rain. The tenth hole was very wet, but the grounds crew appeared to be attentively fixing the problem. I recommend playing this course.
