In summary

Baxter Springs Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its scenic 9-hole course, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, making it a popular choice among locals and visitors alike. The course offers a mix of challenging holes with decent elevation changes, contributing to an enjoyable golfing experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with the cart paths and slow pace of play, and there have been occasional concerns about management communication and maintenance of certain facilities.

Nice open fairways, slow greens. The cart path needs some fixing up but otherwise a fun course. Hole 6 was especially difficult. Slight dogleg left and then a 45 degree hill up to the green.

Cart paths are AWFUL. 9 hole course. Has decent elevation, and dog legs to make it interesting. Pace is slow. Not much inventory in the pro shop

The course is fun and has some long par 4's and one par 3, however the grass was too high on the fairways. The greens could be better maintained, some of them have big bald spots. The staff was nice and the prices were decent. Would have given 4 if the grass had been a bit nicer.

About a month and a half before our event we went to check out the club to rent. We were told by the manager that we were renting it for the day. It cost $250. We signed the contract and reserved the room. They told us the bar would be open all day but they would serve customers in the lobby so they wouldn't disturb our decor or party. We also asked if we could cook in the kitchen. We were told that was fine. We get there the day of and as we were decorating the room we rented, there were people walking in and out to the pool and coming up to the bar. We weren't going to cause any problems so…

This was the worst golfing experience of my life. I play golf with my little ones called ahead to see if it was okay. They didn’t space out players. The group behind us hit up into my 8 year old. We were keeping pace and was waiting on the group in front of us. The lady at the front desk is rude from the start. I have never seen a “pro” shop so poorly attended. Leave this one to the locals. They treat it like a private club. Rude staff and golfers this is what was wrong with golf 20 years ago

Nice little 9-hole course with friendly staff and down-to-earth fellow golfers. Clubhouse has a bar and a pool to keep you cool depending on your summertime taste.

Truly a hidden gem in SE Kansas. One of the nicest golf course in the area that is not owned by a casino. If you're looking to hit a few holes check this one out.
