In summary

Bear Creek Valley Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful hilly layout, and accommodating staff, offering a mix of challenging and enjoyable holes. The amenities, including the restaurant and views, add to the positive experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional staff unprofessionalism, which can detract from the overall experience.

Breakfast was great. Appreciate the hospitality and quick service. Played 18 and had a nice cold beer in the same restaurant/pub we had breakfast. Very convenient easy course to get to and plenty of good parking. The place is run well and kept up for the amount of play they get. Thanks for the good day of food and golf.

Very slow play! They need to space out their starting times, or police those who play too slow. When the pace is better it's a fun course with lots of hills and trees. Be prepared to lose lots of balls unless you're pretty good.

Course is in great shape. Fairways are wide spotted with bunkers in landing zones. The hills and slopes make golfer have variety of stances none of which seem to be level. Water comes in to play on quite a few holes and tall trees line most holes providing fantastic views and challenging shots. Four different t-blocks give every skill level chance for a fun enjoyable round. Greens well manicured and roll true. If your in the area would recommend this being one to check out. Prices are cheaper than most. Good buy here

Went for breakfast and disappointed. The bear Creek omelet had mostly veggies, very little meat My go to has always been the crunchy French toast and sadly it didn't hit the spot. Bread was entirely too thick and dry dry dry. Not sure we will be back.

Played 18 while on vacation there, Very hilly, greens were a little beat up from other golfers not fixing their divots but everything else was in great condition. Would go again when back in the area.

Nice public course. Fairways and greens are in good shape. This course is really hilly, so if you are not comfortable with driving your cart on steep hills, you may want to avoid this place. Great views from some of the tee boxes.

Great day at this place! Fair price, fast and true greens, pleasant staff. Be ready for some serious elevation changes creating challenging tee shots. Tee boxes need help, but that's my only fuss. Had minimal impact on our day anyways. Just a fun, unique style of course. Definitely worth a visit.

Came here while on family vacation with dad and sister and was $60/person. Course was very nice but the staff is completely unprofessional and untrained. On holes 1&3 we had to hit our approach shots with the greens keeper watering the green very near the hole, and continued watering while we were putting and did the same to the group behind us. He even took a call and stood on the green while we were putting and talked the whole time. Workers going everywhere in carts and not yielding to golfers is terrible etiquette and dangerous for the workers.. and when brought up to the manager he said “…

Overall not a bad course for the money. Very, very hilly and some blind shots. No walking allowed and once you play it you’ll understand why! Tee boxes need some maintenance but overall the course and greens are in great shape. It’ll definitely test your golf skills. Hit em straight!

The course was great. I wish they had a course marshall. Pace of play and guys skipping ahead was annoying, but they seemed to resolve themselves. Also, want to appoligize for almost "Kobe'n" on #16. Rimmed out for the Ace. Sad day. We did fix it to the best of our ability.

Beautiful rolling course. Definitely one to start putting in regular rotation. Great breakfast as well.

Course was enjoyable and relaxing. Office lady wasn’t the nicest. Every question we had about the course was met with rudeness like we don’t know how to golf. Tried to call asking about the course once more and was hung up on mid sentence. Can’t remember her name and don’t care to know it but she had black hair and about in her 60s so watch out for that one.
