Don't ever plan to quit your membership! It takes centuries to get your deposit back. I am a widow that moved away from Porto Cima where we lived and I have been waiting for our deposit since at least 2013. If I remember correctly, 3 people have to join before one person gets their deposit back. We didn't think much of it at the time, but apparently they don't get many members each year. There were over 200 people in line to receive their deposits when we left. As of July 19th 2025, I was notified there are 126 people in line ahead of us. At this point my children will inherit the deposit. I r…

I can't believe that there is a course like this in the Midwest. I have not seen, or played on, a course like that, that is not located on a coast. This course is the Pebble Beach of the Midwest. I can see now why Jack describes this course as a 10 out of a 10. One of his best layouts. Golfers heaven.

Freakin gorgeous. Best place to shoot an engagement by far is the 15th hole. The amazing staff helped set this up and did an amazing job at making this special for the couple I had.

Great place. This is the finishing hole. Shot 1 under on last 7 holes let's forget about the first 11!

Wow, what a disappointment. Interesting layout but course condition wasn't even close to being worth the price. Greens covered with leaves, twigs, branches, bunkers not groomed,,clubhouse staff not ready... I understand that it's early season but then don't charge full fees. No on course service or half way house.. Again, I understand it's early season but the price wasn't close to worth it.

We stayed at one of the two-bedroom private quarters units for five days, mostly to play golf. We clearly picked one of the hottest weeks this year since it was really scorching. The unit itself is nicely kept, clean, and spacious. It will need to be updated one of these years though. The restaurant at the club was fine, though there was only one other couple at the bar area the day we were there around 2:30 pm on a Wednesday. The course design is beautiful with tree lined holes and interesting layout with just enough water to interfere with your shots. We saw a few holes with burnt grass on f…

Caught the course on a bad day after heavy rain and fairways had been aerated. Would like to play under better conditions. Well, I got the chance to play this course again and this time the weather was perfect as was the golf course. It proved challenging but fair. Great layout.

It's a private course but if you stay at the lodge of the 4 seasons you can play it in your golf package, it was my favorite course out of the 4 we played on our stay, very scenic with lots of lake views, not alot to complain about it was a really fun and enjoyable round..

Beautiful course. Challenging and fair. Greens are fast and true.

My friends and I played a round here last week. The course itself is beautiful, especially the back nine on the holes that approach the water. My issue is the greens were atrocious. All 18 greens were aerated. I have never heard of aerating greens in the middle of August, but I’m not a greenskeeper. Aerated or not, the clubhouse should have disclosed that and/or offered a discount accordingly. Any other course I’ve ever played would. If I’m spending almost $250 to play a course, there are certain expectations that come with that, and unfortunately they were not met here.
