In summary

The Lodge of Four Seasons Resort is often praised for its beautiful lake views, friendly and attentive staff, and a range of amenities including pools, a gym, and a spa. Guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and charming vintage feel of the property. However, some visitors have noted that the hotel is outdated, with issues such as unclear package details, insufficient room amenities, and challenges with room privacy. Despite these drawbacks, many guests have had positive experiences, particularly with the resort's customer service and management responsiveness.

Overall the hotel is good and clean. Outdated, but still nice. We did a wellness package. The spa and the service at the spa. Top notch! Everything about booking the package to using the package was horrible. Called to book this over the weekend. Played phone tag with Beth a manager who did not want to help until Monday. I had to call back during my lunch on monday....no answer. Lmao. We booked the next day with some guy manager who was great. From there no one mentions the package to you. We had to ask about it at check in....still not clear on how it worked. Got the free breakfest voucher…

5 stars for the peacefulness I had during my stay. That was the best (and most important) aspect for me, and it did not disappoint. 3 stars for the ridiculously dumb way of getting to said peaceful room, i.e., the gardens. Into the lobby, around the main sitting area, down the steps (no ramp for suitcases), to the left of HK's restaurant, and out the door to the garden path, and then finding your way to one of the rooms. Unfortunately, the rooms have their huge glass doors and windows facing the walking path of the gardens, and it's quite disconcerting seeing strangers peering into your room…

Our room was really nice, lots of Windows to see views, the staff was very friendly. They're a lot of comments in other reviews about the hotel being outdated, but overall it has a very pleasing atmosphere and seems to be kept up very well. The pool and workout areas are really great and have unique features.

We stayed here this past weekend. At checkin, I asked if our room had a view of the lake, it had a king size bed. Katie said no but that we have a room with 2 double beds that has a great view and its $30 cheaper. So we took the room with 2 double beds. We had dinner at HK's and everything was good. We went to eat breakfast at HK's the next morning but stood at the entrance for a good 10 minutes with no assistance. The restaurant wasnt busy so not sure what the problem was but we went somewhere else to eat. The property needs an upgrade overall and there wasn't a microwave in the room. I thoug…

The Lodge of Four Seasons has a charming, vintage feel, though it’s clear its heyday was decades ago, much of the décor, including the carpet, feels original to the 60s and 70s. The rooms are definitely outdated, but there are some great amenities: the views of the lake are beautiful, Japanese Garden, indoor pool, cozy fireplace in the lobby, gym, spa, fun game room, outdoor fire pits, real Movie theater with popcorn included. On the downside, the room doesn’t get cleaned unless you request it, the cafeteria closed early, and the restaurant automatically adds a 20% gratuity regardless of your…

We recently stayed at The Lodge of Four Seasons for their Valentine’s Day package and arrived a day early to enjoy a full weekend getaway. We were especially looking forward to this stay because we had celebrated Valentine’s Day here before and had an amazing experience, which is why we chose to return. While we did experience some challenges with the Valentine’s dinner portion of the package, I want to sincerely acknowledge how the resort handled our feedback afterward. The front desk manager personally called me to thank me for my review, let me know he appreciated the suggestions, and share…

Hotel isnt great but the staff and amenities are superb. Leigh from the breeze way and donovan from the events are the absolute best people I've worked with here. Judy from the night shift is the absolute worst, she was so hateful to the bride-to-be, it took three of us to get here to help us properly

We absolutely love the lodge of the four seasons!! This year was the first year to travel to the north pole and it was a fabulous experience for children of all ages. The pools are great all year round!! And the views are so beautiful! All the restaurants in the resort are amazing! Great place for all occasions. Even for drinks at the fire and ice bar.

My husband and I have never woke up in that much pain from a bed before. It was bad ya’ll. 😩 We are in our early 30s and only had issues for the 2 nights we stayed. I feel the main purpose of a hotel is to rest at night, so this alone is a 1 star. The staff was very welcoming & attentive. Wish our DoorDasher would be been allowed up to our room to drop off our meal the first night because we were absolutely exhausted. Maybe it is standard, we just normally don’t experience issues with that. We visited in the fall/winter, & did not try any amenities. Hotel looks & smells outdated but all seem…

We love this place, room was great, fireplace was going all weekend, staff was more than helpful. Some say it’s outdated, it’s not. Thay are doing alittle work on some things but it’s.always getting better. We just stayed at the end of January and the place was packed, so I think they are doing something right.

The Lodge of Four Seasons is a really great place to make lasting memories. We hosted our wedding here and we could not have asked for a better Wedding Coordinator - Rob was FANTASTIC! The whole facility has so much charm too. We had a weekend that we will remember forever. Thank you so much!

We booked a stay and play package. The Ridge golf course is in bad condition. Pro shop & snack bar closed before 3pm. We had to bang on the doors to come in to use restroom. Lady in snack bar was so rude. Rooms were old with mildew in shower area. We had dinner there and it was a very nice experience with great service. Breakfast was included and it was very good. Wait staff was super nice Played the Cove course the next day and it was in very good condition. Probably won’t go back.
