In summary

Berkeley Country Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, enjoyable layout, and scenic setting with old oak trees, making it a suitable course for players of various skill levels. The course generally receives positive feedback for its condition, although some visitors mention issues with maintenance, such as patchy greens and overgrown tee boxes, and note that the pricing does not always reflect the quality. Additionally, some golfers express frustration with the pace of play and management practices, including unexpected group pairings and booking inconsistencies.

Not a bad course. Descent layout for most part greens descent but there were some patchy ones. Tee boxes descent and fairways were as well. People very nice in clubhouse and bar/grill. Lot of play teed off around noon close to 5 hour round. Only other issue with a lot of play some of the holes were side by side and other groups had a tendency to hit your balls. Fun course.

fun course for what it is! it is very forgiving for those who play army golf. probably a great course to get a young one or amateur. some confidence should be able to play some about anywhere and minimal hazards when it comes to water. some great par3s! the greens are actually in better condition than most of the other courses around, unless you're going to the high dollar private ones that is always a perk. friendly pro shop. nice clubhouse. highly recommend

We played this course yesterday. We got paired with a gentleman,Mike, who was a pleasure to play with and a great ambassador for the course. It was a great time. The staff was professional and courteous. The rates were great! It was quite busy but the pace of play was wonderful. The course is spectacular with all the old oak trees. So beautiful. Well maintained. We will be playing this course again. Thank you all.

This place was absolutely beautiful. I didn't record a video or take enough pics to show the true beauty of this place. We attended an outdoor wedding, as you can see in the pics but the reception was also on the property and it was just as beautiful. It wasn't wheelchair or handicapped accessible, unfortunately. A few men had to help lift a senior and her portable motor chair up lots of steps. An elevator, lift or ramp was needed for those with wheelchairs, motorized chairs, walkers or canes.

I never write reviews. But I needed to for this place. This is by far the worst golf course I’ve been to. It cost about $50 to play. As we were approaching the green, they decided to start spraying chemicals all over the green. Which dyed our shoes blue and our balls. They didn’t care that we were just about to swing. They were blocking the path ways with construction vehicles and mounds of dirt. They also had golf carts that drove horribly. The course conditions were also horrible. Do not waste your money. This place may be a few minutes from my house but… I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!! Worst…

Considering the large amt of play it receives the course is in pretty good shape. Very open and forgiving. Great place to teach a kid the game. Practice area is small but nice. Driving range is fairly large and in good shape. The course is in much better shape than it was two months ago ( it is June 2 today). Staff is great and very nice. Chaz in the pro shop is excellent. Food- what you would expect for a golf course- good not great. The only recommendation I have - bring an orange or yellow ball for the first three holes. You will have to navigate a lot of range balls on those holes so you…

nice venue. I am a florist, and have designed flowers here for many events over the years. I have included photos from the Last reception I designed for here to give an idea of how it can be decorated for an event

Played here twice in one week and won’t be playing here again unless I’m invited by a friend. The first few fairways run right along the driving range so you could lose your ball amongst the range balls in your fairway. For the price, this shouldn’t be the case. It’s very frustrating. You have to use a different color ball just to keep track on the first few holes. Other than that, the staff is cool. Facilities are alright. Greens are fast.

I've played here many times over the years. Went to play last week with my dad and uncle to make it a threesome. Upon checking in at the pro shop, I find out that they had paired us up with two other people to make it a fivesome. Their reasoning was that it was a busy day. But it was OK, according to them, since the two guys were members. I have never had that happen anywhere in all my years playing golf. Turned a relaxing, maybe 4 hour round, into a 5 1/2 hour grueling slog of a round. Will never go back.

Berkeley Country Club is a hidden gem in Berkeley County! The course was in great shape and made for an enjoyable round from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome the moment we arrived. One of the things we appreciated most was the relaxed pace—we never felt rushed and were able to enjoy our day out on the course at our own speed. Highly recommend this course for anyone looking for a laid-back and enjoyable golf experience!
