What People Say

In summary

Berrien Hills Golf Club is appreciated for its scenic location along the St. Joseph River, offering a challenging layout that many find enjoyable and well-suited for using a variety of clubs. The staff is often described as friendly and accommodating, contributing positively to the overall experience. However, some visitors express concerns about the course's maintenance, noting issues with the condition of the greens and fairways, as well as outdated facilities. The club is also noted for its historic significance and as a venue for events, though it is reportedly closing soon.

Course conditions are poor it best I would not waste my time or the overcharge price for 18 holes to play here I wouldn't even golf it for free pictures will be posted below

Nice course all around. We had a Fri morning tee time and the course was wide open. Nice fairways and Exellent greens. Several very challenging holes where it might be best to leave the Big Stick in the bag. Looking forward to many more rounds.

One of the worse conditioned courses I have ever played. Tees were mostly dead and not level, fairways were not much better. Greens were slow and nothing special. This course was way over priced at 49.00! It might have been a nice course at one time, not anymore!

The place is in serious need of an update. They still believe they are a country club, even though it's open to the public. Would not recommend this place to anyone, unless you only want to golf then maybe you might like it. They used to allow day passes for the pool, now you have to purchase an over priced membership.

Seems like the course might have been nice a few decades ago but has been severely neglected. It's very poorly marked, not a single yardage marker to be found in the fairways. Signage around the whole course is just sub standard.

Was a beautiful course and you could play at a leisurely pace. Glad I was able to get one last round in before the closed their doors for good after 95 years!

I Like The Laid Back Friendly Service...But The Club House Was Not Kept Up To Date.. And The Pool Is Closed...It Does Have Kind Employee's...And A Nice Course...I Could Soooo Make This Place A Happening Spot AGIAN. With A lil Funds And The Right Marketing Campaign. Yes Indeed I COULD!

Always a great place to play a little wet due to the recent rains but not enough to make a difference in our scoring. The people and the staff are a pleasure to be around

Historic significance in my life anyways. It's THE place I learned how to play golf, swim, and generally grew up 53 years ago. It will be missed...

It's ok,the bridge over river with cars kinda loud and golf course wet and too close to body of water,I personally like to go to Harbor shores cause it is much better.
