In summary

New Paw Paw Lake Golf Club is often praised for its well-maintained fairways and greens, unique layout, and charming vintage clubhouse, which many find adds character to the golfing experience. The course is described as fun and challenging, with a notable gazebo bar offering a pleasant mid-round break. However, some visitors have encountered issues with customer service, course conditions such as aeration and flooded bunkers, and found the pricing to be higher than expected given the amenities.

Played this course on a Saturday. It had a really good vibe. The starter was super friendly and helpful. All of the other golfers we bumped into were friendly and having a good time. Greens were aerated and sanded, but we adjusted to them quickly. The rest of the course was in great shape. Fun course to play. Stopped at the Gazebo after the 7th and 12th hole, and then again after the round.

Played here while vacationing. Great course fun and challenging. Most of the holes are straight but plenty of hills. Definitely recommend giving this course a try.

First time I have ever played there. When we first pulled up I thought it was a joke. Looked flat and boring from the small clubhouse. It reminded me of an old school muni! Boy was I wrong! The further I got into the course, the more I was amazed! Probably the coolest most eclectic golf course that I have ever played! Played from the tips. The par threes will kill you! Must play course!

Played course yesterday and was disappointed to find course recently aerated! My fault as I should have inquired when paying green fees! However, did not expect inattentive workers. Had to skip two holes as approach shots may have struck worker's! No horn on golf cart, but even with one installed workers were using leaf blowers! Went into pro shop after round to report the workers! Just to advise Mgmt the dangers workers were putting themselves in and also it creates slow pace of play! Female at desk in pro shop was combative and condescending. Basically not taking are concerns as valid. Obvio…

Great course for beginners and reasonably priced. Conditions were great considering the value. Nice newer carts. Some of the scorecard yardages seemed a bit off from GPS, so not sure what’s going on there. Overall nice course and I’d go back

Will NEVER golf here again. We set a tee time online to walk 18 holes. After driving an hour to golf they informed us that their website is broken and you don’t get an option to walk. Decided to go ahead and get a cart anyway. Then after we got in the cart, they informed us that we can’t play after all because I didn’t have a set of clubs. We combine our clubs to one pull cart when we are planning to walk. Very frustrating and extremely poor customer service. Take my advice & play golf somewhere else.

I think this was great value for what we paid for our foursome! The quint little course was challenging from the tips! The vibe of the clubhouse is that of the 1920's if you're into that vintage feel ( I appreciate that)

Paw Paw is a great course with plenty of challenges. The desk even sent my range finder to me by mail which had been left in my cart. Kudos! We’ll be back next year!

Great “beginners” course. I say beginners because it’s a smaller 18 hole course, but fun as could be and still a challenge. Has a real old school feel with the clubhouse and the scorecards have a little description of each hole. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were damn near immaculate when I played. A few unrepaired ball marks in the greens here and there, that’s about it. Water involved in almost every hole, same with bunkers around the greens and a few blind shots at the green depending on where you land. Bottom line: $45 for 18/cart on a weekday morning was a bit steep in my opinion, but…

Great track to swing the sticks. Fairways and greens are in awesome shape for the price point. Layout is quirky and gives the course character. Starts with two lengthy par 3s, but eases up later in the round with a handful of short par 4s. Lots of holes are tight. The lakefront gazebo bar you pass on holes 7 and 12 was the real kicker for me. Spectacular spot for a mid-round drink and dog. Be sure to give the paw paw punch a shot!
