In summary

Beeches Golf Club is highly praised for its excellent course conditions, including well-maintained fairways and fast, true greens, as well as its challenging links-style layout that offers a variety of holes. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and accommodating nature, enhancing the overall golfing experience. However, some visitors have experienced issues with management's attitude, slow pace of play, and occasional organizational hiccups, which have affected their enjoyment.

Great course, plays long with fast greens and is in excellent condition. Well maintained roughs, fairways and greens. It’s a challenge so bring your A game. Maybe the best course in Michigan. Highly recommend.

Fun course that makes you think before you tee off. Great people, I left my rain jacket and they sent it back for free, thanks GM

I really enjoyed playing 18 here. I've always gone to Hawks Head, but decided to give this one a try... So glad I did. Course conditions were GREAT. Loved the variety of holes. Greens were in fantastic conditions. Tee boxes immaculate. And the value for what I paid was better than most around here. If you love Hawks Head, give Beeches a try. IMO it's got everything Hawks Head does, but more variety and a better rate.

We called Monday morning to make a tee time. The guy in the shop told us either 12:50 or 1:15. He had a group of 16 people teeing off at 1:00. No problem. We chose 12:50. Only 1 of us golfing. We get there, at 12:15. The guy tells us there's a foursome that just teed of, then a 2 person, then us. We have plenty of time to use the range. We could tee off anytime between then (12:20) and 12:50. We go to the range, finish, only to find out, the group had been told they can tee off. It was 12:43! It made for a very long game! (We drove 3 hours, to play this course!) This is the reasoning for the 4…

This is a really nice course for those who love to drive the ball. The fairways make it challenging if you don’t hit it straight, lots of bunkers, but lots of par fours 300 yds or more. Typical farmland scenery but friendly staff and friendly golfers. Lots of tee boxes to choose from to either help or hurt your game.

Grass clippings from freshly cut fairways. Green airation holes and top dressing on greens but still rolling true. Fairways very soggy due to overnight watering. Driving range practice conditions different from on course condition. Very tight and unforgiving when taking a divot. Overall a 4 ⭐. If not for the current playing conditions a 5 ⭐ in my book. Great course layout for golfers who want a true links style challenge. Demands great course management skills in order to break par for the scratch golfer.

A nice links style track. Decent pace of play. My greens fee included a bucket of balls which was nice. Hot out there with little to no tree coverage. Water coolers could use some cleaning on the nozzles.

Beautiful course and very nice greens. But management needs an attitude adjustment. They were rude to some of party who showed up early and asked about the free small basket of balls you get with a round of golf and was told they don’t do that anymore. As a business owner myself if I had a similar situation; just honor it and take it down afterwards. I’m sure they fixed their website by now. Definitely made us weary of coming back and at $50 per person for 9 holes.

We have been coming to the Beeches Golf Club for years. The course is always in great shape, and the different tee positions provide a great golfing experience for players of different skill levels. The staff is very accommodating to family outings, and we appreciate how they set us up with tee-time and starting position (sometimes starting on #10) to ensure we enjoy ourselves. Looking forward to our next round!

Everything about this track is exceptional! The well manicured fairways, new GPS carts and quick, but true rolling greens make this one of the best golf experiences in SW Michigan. You will not be disappointed!

Played 9 holes here while vacationing in South Haven. Staff was very friendly and the tee times were evenly spaced that we never felt rushed. Course is in great condition and was a fun course to play. Greens were tough, they were rolling fast and I don't see how you can't play that course on a windy day making it a fun challenge!

The manager was rude when we brought up the fact that on the website it says u get a free bucket on a purchase of 9 holes or 18 and we showed up early to warm up and when we showed him the website he dismissed it. So beware when booking online. Will not be coming here again!
