In summary

Beverly Golf & Tennis Club is praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both golf and events. The venue is noted for its beautiful setting and accommodating staff, particularly for hosting celebrations and gatherings. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the tee time scheduling system leading to a slow pace of play and occasional maintenance issues on the course.

I’ve lived adjacent to the BG&T course for almost thirty years. After all that time it’s hard to believe I’m only a half mile away from downtown Beverly as I stand amidst the green sloping hills surrounded by lush green forest. The grounds are beautifully maintained and always appear to have somehow been improved from year to year. I’m not a golfer so I cannot speak to the golfing experience or compare it to other courses. However, since it’s a public course, it’s definitely worth your while to spend a half day there.

Horrible scheduling system at this course. Booked 2 player tee time then was ordered to go with another player. Then added on two more. Starter proceeded to yell at us for not waiting. Jammed up course and nobody has patience. Group behind us called the office because we weren’t going fast enough. Cant really go move along when there multiple groups ahead of us. You couldn’t pay me to get a membership at this course. VERY disappointed. Do not play here.

We had a celebration of life there a week ago. I can't say enough good things about the club. it's really a beautiful venue. I worked with Jackie and LeAnne and they were super efficient, friendly and made the whole experience as easy as possible for us. The food was delicious and overall I cannot say enough good things about the place.

My bridal shower was perfect thanks to the wonderful event staff at Beverly Golf & Tennis! Hosted in the Fireside Room, my shower ran without a hitch and we felt so supported in the planning process and even more so on the day of - LeeAnn and Jackie are both fantastic! All staff were incredible attentive, we loved that we could get in early to decorate, and they were so accommodating with dietary restrictions, plus my guests haven’t stopped raving about the food and mimosa bar! Highly, highly recommend Beverly Golf & Tennis for your next event! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No idea how this course has a 4.4. The course is badly kept, bunkers without sand, but with rocks in them. Someone on the grounds staff decided to seed the greens with fairway grass in the bare spots so they look awful. Only 1 divot mix box per par 3 hole, seriously, how much does it cost to have a divot mix box for each set of tees?! Its a shame because this course has some seriously fun golf holes. Highlights were holes 4, 8, 13, 14 and 17, but no idea who designed the course because its nowhere to be found on their website.

Good rates. The course is challenging, and in great shape. The bar has great food and has a great atmosphere to it. The service was fantastic.

Fun course, reasonably priced, and kept in great condition for public golf standards. Definitely worth playing!

Early May play, the course was in terrific condition. This is my first time playing here and I was very impressed. The greens were aerated maybe a month sooner and some of the sand was lost, topping those off could still be needed. The back to back par 3's after the turn is not my favorite layout, interesting though. I wish the 18th green had a nicer backdrop, instead of the maintenance sheds. I will absolutely be back.

Nice course and great conditions. HOWEVER, they schedule tee times 5 minutes apart, so if you love jammed up pace of play this is the course for you!

Timeless experience, Clubhouse was closed but the restrooms look like the are from the 1910's but I was there to golf. Course is awesome, Very Donald Ross, it was in great shape even for early March. Only two fairways that I can remember had some standing water. Overall its a must play. You are absolutely getting your money's worth and then some.

Great staff! Layout and tee selection are great and diverse. Beginner friendly, but there are still longer shots for those more seasoned.

Nice track and in decent shape. For $40, its reasonably priced. Its a bit hilly if you like to walk though. Friendly and organized staff. During the week it's open to the public, weekend are reserved for members. Give it a try.
