In summary

Blackberry Trail Golf Club is generally praised for its well-maintained course, friendly and helpful staff, and good value for money. Many golfers appreciate the course's layout and the enjoyable playing experience it offers, with some highlighting the quality of the greens and amenities like the clubhouse and restaurant. However, there are some criticisms regarding slow pace of play and issues with golf cart availability during events, as well as occasional dissatisfaction with the condition of the greens.

Municipal course that is somewhat a links style course. This is the easiest layout I've played so far in North Alabama. So I believe it is a little more forgiving than the others I've played so far. I'm playing the course out of season so don't let the brown grass fool you. Theres plenty of lie to hit off of even if you're off the fairway. Very enjoyable layout. All of the greens were in amazing shape. Very fast. If I'm guessing probably around an 11 on a stimpmeter. And still challenging enough. Clubhouse and staff were great. There is a small restaurant area to eat in with more than just a h…

Let's see, if there was an option for negative stars that's where this place would rate. I am a disabled Marine Veteran whose 8th grade son had his FINAL youth meet today at Blackberry Trail Golf course, we were informed by the coach limited golf carts would be available, because of my back and knees I called in advance and offered to pay to secure an additional golf cart but was told we were unable to because there were two meets and only 3 carts per school would be offered...again offered to pay for an additional cart but told not an option. I went out of my way to rent another golf course a…

GREAT VALUE. Blackberry Trail is a very nice track and is in very good condition. The greens are large and insulated with some precious pin positions. The greens are a tad slow making putting difficult. I'll be back. I'd give 5 stars if the greens were a bit faster.

Great course play every Thursday however senior group that plays in the morning are very inconsiderate. We played this morning very slow group who actually have no golf etiquette. They were actually looking for balls in the water ( not their own) holding up play behind. Never let anyone play through. Suggestion to course management as someone who plays just as much as they do and pays the same rates Marshall should be mentoring them on the course to speed play along.

Love the course but the way you handled the NO raincheck when all i asked for was my moneys worth and to get 9 hole raincheck. Treated like i was 2nd class citizen. Golf now and blackberry you failed on this issue EDIT*** Not had a problem in the many rounds since. Still my favorite course locally even the the above issue

Excellent service, nice course to play. This is the second year I have attended a tournament on this course and it was a great place to enjoy the game. It’s a fun course, and offers a few challenges around every turn. I will definitely play each time I’m in Florence.

played here for many years, good course decently kept. I was a member at one point but now days they are extremely crowded which is a good thing but, sure would be nice if florence would build a second municipal course, just to have options and relieve over booking. I'm confident both would be successful.

Very enjoyable course. Links-style course. I'm not a great or frequent golfer, but do enjoy getting out from time to time. This course was user-friend, with a laid back, helpful staff. $27.00 for 9 holes with cart was just about perfect. And the beer cart showed up just when I needed it. I'll definitely go back.

Nice course with great greens. Not very scenic, but the layout of the course is nice. A lot of houses along the fairways of about 4 holes. Great pro staff and cold beer on the drink cart. I love playing here.
