In summary

Blairhampton Golf Club is praised for its beautiful and challenging course layout, well-maintained greens, and scenic setting, particularly during the fall with changing leaves and wildlife sightings. The staff, including the maintenance crew and clubhouse team, receive commendations for their friendly service. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about slow pace of play and strict enforcement of traditional golf rules by the marshals, which at times has affected their experience.

Beautiful course, played 18 holes on Oct. 5 and the weather was just like a July day but the scenery with the leaves changing and the deer and turkeys running around was nice

Review from avid golfer. Last played about 10 years ago. Pleasantly surprised for a cottage course. Was quite shocked by the quality of the greens. Extremely good shape for up in Haliburton. Fast and true with hardly a blemish. Have to rely on mother nature for fairways though and it's been a dry summer so they were a little brown. Bunkers also well maintained with nice sand. Only had to try them once though. Fairly tight fairways and well layed out. Played the whites and it's a little short from there. Probably south of 6k. Will play blues tomorrow. It's nice and undulating but easily walked…

The pace of play has been slow each time I’ve played here, the marital does nothing to move things along, you’ll be waiting for pigs to fly before you can take your next hit. The course was extremely dry - tee boxes were basically a sand box. You can see the tumble weeds rolling in a distance, as your ball lands with dust clouds around it. The course layout may be nice, but have been disappointed multiple times especially for the price of a round.

Beautiful course. I especially enjoyed the hilly holes like the 6th, 7th, 10th, 12th, 15th and 17th. The greens were in great shape and fast. It had rained lots recently so they were receptive to the ball and I had back spin on a few approach shots to the green. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely play this course again.

Course was in great shape, especially the greens which were rolling very pure! One of the best courses here in cottage country and had a great time so would definitely would recommend! Only problem we had was with the Marshall. I understand that he was just doing his job, but we were playing as a 5some with nobody behind us for 6 holes, keeping pace of play with the threesome in front of us. But the Marshall broke us up with the only real reason being “because I said so” and golf is meant to be played in twos and fours. It’s just seemed very unnecessary and unreasonable as we were not holding…

Absolutely great course. Well manicured and the greens were in great shape. Quite a back up at every tee box...it was a beautiful Sunday of the long weekend so kind of expected it...and deer walking the course too 🦌 ⛳

July 2025 update, the course continues to improve from tee to green! Wow, it's impressive on what they are doing out here. I can't wait to visit again. July 2024 update. Blairhampton is in the best shape I have ever seen it and I have played every year for 20 years. Always a favorite when visiting the cottage. Sarah and here team are doing a great job from booking, to check in, to on course and everything for a great day of golf.

Very scenic course, however could benefit from better fairway maintenance. Lots of patches and weeds on the fairway. Could be mowed shorter. Fun track and has the potential to be a great course.

Great little track, fairly easy especially front 9 but back had a few interesting twists which were tough. Greens were in excellent shape not a bad track especially when you want to build some confidence for some of the more major courses. Hands down the best in Haliburton county

A lovely course in the Algonquin Highlands. Plenty of elevation change. Great conditions. Nice greens. New white sand for the traps being installed. Fairway divots are repaired with seed and soil. We had a great time on the last HOT day of the summer. And i sunk a 75 foot putt! Thanks for that.
