In summary

Bracebridge Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff and picturesque setting, making it a pleasant spot for a quick 9-hole round. The course is noted for its rustic charm and interesting layout, though some visitors find the greens and tee boxes in need of better maintenance. A frequent point of contention is the pricing, which some feel is high compared to the course's condition and amenities.

Was there today and it was nice to see all the work that's been done so far this Spring. The clubhouse has been cleaned up, the greens are happier and it feels like the whole place is being rejuvenated.

Owners are friendly. Greens haven't been cut due to the hot weather. Tee boxes are in dire need of repair probably due to overuse. But it's pretty... a nice walk... a good outing for high handicappers and vacationers...

Very friendly staff and the grass was in great shape! Probably the softest greens i have played on in a long time but cant complain! The position of tee boxes can get a little awkward for those playing behind others. Two of them (hole 3 and 7) are lined up behind the green from the previous hole so it can be daunting to take a confident shot without laying up. Regardless i would definitely go back! Just noticed other reviews and i do agree its a bit pricey, especially for 9 holes. Have to choose your battles when every other course is ~30 minutes away.

Greens were spongey, very slow, and had strange burn lines/high grooves that made it impossible to putt. One hole was full of brown murky water so didn’t even want to putt into it. Tee boxes were not well kept either - I put a tee into the ground and was shorter than the grass around it. Unfortunately very expensive for what you’re getting in return, but would be a pretty course and has potential with more regular maintenance.

This 9 hole golf course, family owned for over 57 years, is another jewel of Muskoka. It is such a player-friendly course, immaculately kept in a beautiful setting, one can get in 9 holes in no time. The staff is friendly and the experience makes you want to come back for more!

Humble little 9 hole, greens rough in June. Price hike for packages extreme. Will be price checking for value. Disappointing to see a local business push the inflation needle so hard

I’m reviewing this course based on the cost per round of 9 holes compared to other courses I’ve played and their 9 hole cost. This course is ~$55 per player with a cart for 9 holes, the courses I typically play are higher end courses and run me about $80 per round for 18 holes. I would imagine this course if it were 18 would cost around $80-90 as well. Problem is, the course isn’t even close to being nice enough for that kind of ask. There are no fairways, no trimmed tee boxes, only what most courses would consider to be a first cut in every spot but the greens, which are like fairways at a…

Great 9 hole golf course off hwy 117. Great place to take newbies to the sport and play best ball. Get a cart, your friends will appreciate it. The putting greens are challenging and I saw too many 2 puts. Oh well, that's golf. After the game go look for Muskoka brewery to thank your host. I've been playing this course for 10 years and still enjoy the challenge

Just had a quick weekend round while vacationing in Lake of Bays. Nancy was very friendly and accomodating, she helped me out with hot coffee and a dry towel during a rain break. Worth a visit for a quick 9 holes.
