In summary

Blue Ridge Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and accommodating staff, with many enjoying the distinct differences between the front and back nines. The course offers good amenities, including new golf carts and reasonably priced refreshments. However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with management's handling of pace of play issues, particularly during tournaments or busy times, which has led to negative experiences for a few golfers.

This is a nice course. Greens roll true and quick and layout lets you use all clubs in the bag. Graham and crew are pretty good people as well. A must play if your in the Hillsville Galax area.

Great place to play golf.... The General Manager Dustin is awesome!!!! HIs staff is also great and very accommodating to your needs. I love playing this golf course!! It's always in great condition and pace of play is always great. Me and my friends can play 18 holes in around 3 hours. Again great golf course and great staff....

Nice course and prices. Unfortunately, though, we came to play a full round with a foursome but they didn’t tell us a 3-par tournament was being hosted that day. We were constantly being cut in front of by large groups teeing off from random spots on the course. During our pit stop after 9 holes, we were warned by staff that we were behind pace and to pick it up. The interruptions of the 3-par tourney wouldn’t have bothered us had we not been warned our pace was a problem - we would have rather been told about the tournament so we could have golfed elsewhere and not been a bother.

Very well maintained. No cart paths on back 9 so if I weren't following others I'd have absolutely no idea where to go they are slowly adding paths though. Excellent conditions. Short course except for par 3s. Not much of a clubhouse. Great sausage biscuits. Good staff. Good carts. Just that weird layout on the back side.

The general manager (aka Dustin) has no class, and should not be allowed in that position when he clearly has no experience at a course, for crying out loud it’s golf one of the slowest paced games. Allow individuals time to play especially when they support your business.

Beautiful place but wouldn't recommend if u do not stay in the fairway very well the rough is very high and unforgiving. You will lose a ball 2 feet off the fair way, but greens a very good along with fairways

If I could rate you zero stars, I would. Apparently my party was taking too long on a course..It’s Golf for crying aloud. Be prepared for General manager to just side with Karens and kick you out. Save your time and money and take your business elsewhere

Watch out for the so called “ GM”! Would never recommend anyone playing here. I work for a company with several golfers and had recommended this course. I have since withdrew that recommendation. Don’t waste your time and money here.

One of the nicest courses I've played. Fairways were like carpet. Rough was definitely rough like they haven't mowed in awhile but they were mowing it today. Back 9 is tough. Front 9 is flat. Will definitely be back.
