Bolivar Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it an enjoyable and affordable option for golfers. The course, a nine-hole layout played twice for 18 holes, is noted for its scenic setting and reasonable pricing. I played this course the other day, I think a Tuesday morning. Not very many people on the course, the gentleman checked me in, brought a cart around, gave me some basic instruction for hole number four. Whole number four is under construction, they are reseeding, so the tee box is moved up to make it play as a par 3. Overall, the greens were in great shape ! The fairways were pretty dry, they had some manual sprinklers out, trying to get them to green up a bit . I played a couple holes where the automatic sprinklers were running, made it a bit challenging to stay dry!! This is a nine hole cou…

Great course fairways are beautiful and had very lush grass. The tee boxes were very lush no divots. Had just the right amount of trees. Only bad thing was hole 4 they decided to move the tee box up and decided to not tell us where. Best course I've ever played!!!!

The reviews of this place are baffling. First-timers here and there were no hole markers. Well, I shouldn’t say there were none, because we saw a rock that said 11 and one pointing out 13, but that was it. We even heard other guests confused about where the holes were—it was a pretty weird setup. The golf carts were janky, and you couldn’t hear the person sitting next to you over the clanging and banging. The back nine are straight up ski slopes. If you were to hit your ball up it would just roll back down again. A reviewer called this place “reasonably priced”. We paid over $70 for 18 holes,…

Fairways are below average. You'll get some bad lies from the lack of grass and considerable weeds. The greens were incredible. Fast enough, but not super fast. But the were also soft and held most iron shots well without bouncing off. The balled rolled like perfection on my long putts. My cart was good and everything worked properly on it. Good course for the money.

Very tuff course probably the hardest in the area very challenging, great greens and the price is good. The golf course staff is easy-going and friendly. May be 9 holes but those 9 can give you all you want!

Nice little public 9hole course. Greens looked good. Fairways decent, not great, but for the price and time of year, it's ok

The course was challenging but nice. Lots of trees which made shade that was appreciated since it was a hot day. Mushrooms made it harder than normal to spot a white ball but overall it was a nice day of golf. Manager very nice and knowledgeable. Will plan to come back again soon!

I give this place a 1 because 0 isn't an option. I've tried to play here twice now and the course was closed both times. I called the phone number and was told the green fees just to drive to Bolivar and learn that the course was closed. I asked the man why he didn't tell me that over the phone and he claimed he didn't even remember talking to me on the phone even though it had been less than a half an hour. It wouldn't have bothered me if he had just been honest and told me that he forgot to tell me the course was closed. Claiming that you don't remember a conversation that you just had is ju…

Fun place to play. Clubhouse staff are great and the cost is astounding. On the weekends you can play 18 with a cart for $30. During the week its even cheaper.
