In summary

Greene Hills Country Club is appreciated for its relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and scenic rural setting, making it a pleasant choice for golfers seeking a laid-back experience. The course layout is generally well-received, with greens that are in good condition and a reasonable level of challenge for players of all skill levels. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, such as irrigation leaks and overgrown fairways, as well as management concerns, particularly regarding the pace of play and facility upkeep.

Green Hills is a sleeper course in the area. It’s a lower par layout, which makes it really fun for beginners or anyone just looking for a more relaxed round. It tends to attract an older local crowd, which actually helps keep things pretty laid back and less crowded compared to other courses. If you’re trying to avoid the chaos, this is a great spot.

Golf course is in pretty decent shape. It’s a fun course I really enjoy playing it. I have a membership and pay $140 a month to be able to go golf. My only complaint is the lack of management. No course Marshall no one to ensure the time of play is kept up. Many days I go out there and sit behind groups that are walking and won’t ask if you want to play through. So if you have all day and don’t mind waiting 20-30 minutes between shots then this is a great golf course for you on the weekend. Please get better at spacing tee times and don’t allow a group of 5 to walk at 10am on a Saturday. Sat b…

Course was in good shape. The rough was mowed shorter this time, which made it easier to find my miss hit off the fairway. Greens were good for a public course.

The course is fine. Pretty flat and very easy. The management told some guys not too chip too high on the chipping green to keep ball marks off... isn't that what that green is for?!? I might be back since I'm a great life member but I wouldn't pay full price for it.

Whatever you do, don’t join as a member. Facilitates are terrible, management is all out of Kansas…and just don’t believe anything they tell you. If you’re looking for a gym, several better options close by. If you wanna play golf, anywhere is better or pay green fees but know you’re going to wait…

Great golf course layout. Really wet when I played so many of the holes were shaggy and in need of a mow. Greens are not fast, but roll true. Clubhouse was closed so I can't speak to food or drink options.

Sure wish greatlife would put a little money into upkeep. This course used to be so nice. Now it just feels run down. Several out of service restrooms in the club house 2 out of the 3 in the womens and 1 of the 2 stalls in the mens, pool house restrooms were disgusting. As far as the course goes, its August and super dry, so I don't want to be too critical, greens were ok fairways could stand to have more water and mowing and so many irrigation leaks. I've never understood why courses refuse to spend the little bit of money to patch irrigation lines rather than paying however much extra water…

It was my first time @ this ⛳ course...Was expecting a basic course an worried from some of the comments..but was rather pleased with the place. Course was little challenging being not knowing layout. But wasn't difficult to figure out. We have had lot of rain so greens weren't friendly. Loved the gas carts. Unfortunately no GPS.. more signs to the holes would be nice 👌. They are improving the place everyday. Will definitely 👍 be back. I want redemption..an tee boxes were fine. Overall a very nice place 👌. Everyone was so friendly and helped if needed. Thanks for the hospitality

I've played Greene Hills many times. My experience has been that the course is always in great shape. Most (but not all) of the holes give you a pretty wide open tee shot to swing away. The challenging greens always seem to be in perfect shape, and the ball rolls true. The pace of play is good, and the groups I've played in typically finish in less that 4 hours when we play there. The staff and the members are quite friendly. Though it is a private club, they do allow outside play, even if you are not coming out as a guest of a member. If you're looking for a nice golf course that is reasonabl…

The staff is very kind and the course is beautiful but the pool water is absolutely disgusting as of late. The bottom of the pool is so green and nasty that we lost $15 worth of pool toys because we couldn't see even when underwater. We ended up leaving early drove home and took multiple showers. It wasn't this bad last year but it looks like no one has cleaned it in forever.

Great life has an extremely good membership deal at Green Hills. The greens are in good shape, the layout is very challenging and as soon as spring is in full bloom the course should be excellent. Very wet right now due to past rainfall.
