In summary

Briarbrook Golf & Country Club is frequently praised for its challenging course layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly, helpful staff. The facility offers a variety of amenities, including a driving range, restaurant, and additional recreational spaces like a pool and playground. However, some visitors have noted maintenance issues, such as weeds and bare spots on the course, and concerns about hornet nests in bunkers, which detract from the overall experience for some golfers.

This was my second time playing In the last few years, and I have to say it’s one of my favorite spots and also Southern Missouri. The course is good and very challenging at times with different long shots and blind shots approaching some greens. What makes us so special is the clubhouse and the staff. It’s just done right that’s all I can say it’s one of those things that you have to go and experience to fully understand. Food ready at the turn, Drinks ready at the turn, Drinks ready after the turn. And the top it off the golf is always good as well. Great range with practice area as well, in…

This isn’t a good course. My son played a conference tournament here today and it was in terrible shape. Most of the grass was weeds and there were many bare spots. You couldn’t even use your wedges around the greens because it was so bare.

I always have a great time, but last night it happened. I ran out of battery on the back 9, but like a true professional Nate came to our rescue, towed us back to the pro shop!!! Appreciate what you guys do for us golfers!!!

Fun course to play year-round. Even better place to just hangout and people watch 👀 driving range is very affordable and well kept. Staff is super helpful and friendly too. If you haven’t been… come already!

Course was in great condition. Greens were rolling true and a bit on the fast side. Nate and Joe in the pro shop were extremely helpful. The restaurant service was amazing. Great experience.

Member got mad cause someone hit a 300 yard draw, both golfers yelling fore. Followed us into parking lot. Everybody clearly drunk and decided to assault someone. Crazy. Had to leave after 9. Apparently head pro “Nate” says it’s fine with eyes that looked like he just finished a bottle of vodka

If you would like to enjoy a good round of golf at a course that has nice fairways, greens, and if you appreciate a course that will give you a bit of a challenge with some uphill, downhill, or sidehill lies, you have found the right place. The staff is also friendly and helpful.

Well done. Rain put start time behind from early tournament, and they caught up very impressively. Rain was controlled decently. Some wash out areas were too be expected.

Half of the bunkers have hornet nests on them. Literally hundreds of holes and thousands of hornets flying above them. None of the grass was even anywhere on the course. The course has a lot of potential with some maintenance but at this moment not impressed. Asked the staff about the hornets nests I almost walked into and they said they have known about it for years. They said “You get free relief from them”.

Briarbrook is a nice area in general. As far as the golf course goes it's nice. There is also a pool, a ninthteeth hole, a shelter with bathrooms, playground, and a trail. They also set up soccer fields for grade school age kids during the season.

This is my home away from home. I don't live in the neighborhood but I am treated like I'm part of the family. From the pro shop to the bar it is a fantastic place.
