In summary

Brundidge Country Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and affordability, making it a suitable choice for casual golfers looking to enjoy a laid-back game. The course is noted for its well-maintained greens and offers a good opportunity to practice short game skills. However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with recent changes, including unclear membership rules and perceived unfriendliness from new staff, which have impacted their overall experience.

I was in town to see my son at Troy and called the course on short notice for a tee time, fair price, super friendly staff both grounds keeper and pro shop attendant, Sheryl. I was paired with a current member and son and I really enjoyed the experience. The course was in shape for the time of year.

This used to be the go to place to golf for casual players in Troy. Apparently now they are trying to make it a “private club” which is actually laughable. This never was a good well kept place to go play golf but it was one of the few options around within a 45 min drive. The few good things about this course are now gone due to new rules that are not posted as well as lazy and rude employees. The new lady at the front desk makes you get your own cart and put up your own cart and will be sure to not let you back to play if she has seen you there twice without a membership which never was an…

A lot of “rules” that are not clearly posted. Members-only now, apparently. Not worth a trip. Used to enjoy this place for a game of best ball about every week. It was also a great place to go to get friends into golf. Unfortunately, it has changed. It desperately wants to be an elite club, but is really just a cow pasture with a low-tier course - and, as a bonus, there’s a woman at the front desk who loves spouting out rules (that, again, are not posted). She very much enjoys the tinniest amount of power this position gives her. I will not be returning to this location. If you would like t…

Certain members get discounts depending on “who they are”. Prices change weekly. *Sales tax changes often*. You have to get your own carts and put them back. They smoke cigarettes in the clubhouse. The old lady they have running the clubhouse basically begs for tips, but chastises everyone on the golf course constantly. The level of harassment differs from day to day. She’s ran several people away from there in a years time. I will say, the Greenskeeper does an excellent job with the equipment that he has to use. That place would look 10x better if they cared enough to give him a few upgrades…

Used to be a good laid back place to play. Well taken care of and very kind staff. They’ve hired someone new to run the front. Very rude. Makes us put our carts up by ourself and go get them out of the barn because “her back hurts”. Does not understand pace of play. Flat out told us we weren’t any good and to not come back on the weekends when it only took us 2 hours as a foursome to play 9 holes. I think the employee just looks for something to complain about. Went from a great place with great people to wondering when you’re gonna get chastised for no reason. Won’t be back.

Most importantly it was fun. It is nine hole course so don't expect anything extra luxurious. It plays well. It was a bit early in the season to write a true review. When the season gets going they should get the chance for some broadleaf control and to clear out their traps. I will go back often, I had fun.

This is a great course to play at if your looking to have a kicked-back and relaxed game. No dress code. No tee times. Just a couple of people out hitting golf balls and having fun.

Fun "all day" golf. Small greens and short holes make it a perfect opportunity for sharpening a short game. Friendly welcoming staff who's always accommodating.
