Tartan Pines Golf Club

I’ve played over 100 golf courses and this is without a doubt the worst value for a course I’ve ever played. Not necessarily the worst course but to charge over $60 for 18 holes at this place should be illegal. I’ve played a few worse courses in terms of quality but they were wildly cheap so you get what you pay for. I’ve played here probably 4-5 times over the last year, once every 3ish months when I get tired of playing elsewhere and I regret it every single time. Bridges at Tartan Pines Golf Course Who goes to a Golf Course to eat lunch or dinner; well, if you live in the Wiregrass area and are looking for delicious food prepared by a top notch Chef and kitchen staff in a cozy restaurant setting - The Bridges at Tarpan Pines is the right location. They have a great menu with options, to include a children’s menu; indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the water; and a full service bar. I’ve played here twice this past month and love it. The course layout is challenging and very scenic with all of the bridges between holes and hardwoods and pines lining the fairways. I would give the course condition a 4 out of 5 right now. It was December so the course wasn’t that green and but that’s expected in the winter. They have new Yamaha carts with GPS mapping of the course which is great having not played there a lot. The restaurant is great with a good menu and specials for brunch and dinner on the weekends. The food, carts, staff and course layout bumped it up to 5 stars for me.

The course was absolutely beautiful and in pristine condition. It’s just as hard as I remember it 15 years ago but a very good course. Some people may complain about the cost but you get what you pay for and they have done a great job. The only suggestion I would have is maybe add the hole layout on the score card for people unfamiliar with the course. I will definitely be back as much as I can afford. Probably won’t go many other places now. It’s just too convenient from my place. Great job guys. I’m hopeful for the longevity of the course.

The Sunday breakfast buffet was excellent! The service was excellent! This is definitely a hidden gem here in Enterprise Alabama ❤️

Well kept. Carts are nice and quiet. Holes are designed nice. The bridges and marshes are unique and adds character.

Finally we have the perfect brunch location!! Everything is very delicious. Highly recommend

Went with the expectation of joining to play pickleball on their two beautiful courts. No lights, so the only time to play is super early or during the heat of the day. Plus nothing setup for open play to meet players. How are people supposed to find others to play with? Was told golf is their priority. You build two courts and spent at least $35k if not more to build these courts.. They are rarely used. PB is a social game. No players, no return on investment. Build two more courts and add lights and I’ll guarantee you’ll have a ton of players, get your $$ back plus make $$.

Outstanding course. Well maintained and beautiful scenery. Challenging yet playable. Highly recommend booking a tee time here.

Great atmosphere, staff, and course looks good especially for a public course. For beginners is great. But if you are a low handicapper, the greens do not look like they are ever rolled and are inconsistent. Can be bumpy as well. So set your expectations before playing if you are a low handicapper used to play difficult greens but that are cut and rolled and consistent.
