In summary

Bunker Links Municipal Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course conditions, including excellent greens and fairways, and a friendly, helpful staff. The course layout is considered fun and challenging, suitable for both novice and experienced golfers, and offers convenient amenities like a driving range and practice greens. However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with the refund policy during inclement weather, noting that rain checks are offered instead of refunds.

For the price and bring a muni, the course is pure. It's pretty open with trees to set a boundary for the hole but not much trouble. Greens are excellent especially for late March

I was happy to o be able to play it while I was back up in my hometown. It's a fun challenging Trac. I would have preferred if the cut the fairways a little wider. There's an acre of ground of rough in between holes.

It was a nice relaxing time. I had only been to the driving range once or twice in my earlier years (2005-2006). And it's just as nice if not nicer and convenient as it ever was. Fun course and friendly staff. I got to see my first hole in one and it was my first time on the course!!

We are from 9 hours away. We stopped with a group of 5, 3 golfers and 2 more riders. We played hole 1 and it started to downpour. I asked the young man at the front desk and he said no refunds because of their card system. He offered rain check but we won't be back this way again as it was for national naia track championships in Indiana.

This course is fun to play and the practice putting green and driving range are easily available to allow my husband and I to take our children to facilitate teaching them the game of golf. It's fun the whole family can have and it allows us to move when the more experienced golfers come in. We look forward to when our kids are old enough to play a full 18 holes!

As a novice golfer, I enjoy Bunker for the convenience of its locality and especially because it has a driving range. I am sorry that this course is caught in the controversies of local financial politics. I hope it will stay fiscally competitive in our area and would like to see it offer text and email specials, as do other courses. As a beginner, it doesn't seem to be a overly demanding or complicated course and is well kept. I'm sure that in the future, a few more amenities will be added, but I like the simplicity of the fact that people who play at Bunker are there to play.

For an opening weekend, golf course was in prime shape. No branches or debris... all ball washers were filled. Plenty of cards on hole 2 for those of us who forget. The staff was helpful and speedy. Very surprising stop in central Illinois.

Great public course, getting better with every season since the new pro Bryan started. It would be nice if there were some type of recurring member discount on season pass holders. 🏌️
