Calgary Golf & Country Club

honestly one of the most poorly run golf courses I’ve been to in a long time. Dennis sucked was so rude to me. The backshop service is lazy, the clubs never get cleaned properly, pace of play is brutal, and the staff seem more interested in policing members than actually making the experience enjoyable. The course conditions are pretty good though, but food takes forever, and the overall atmosphere feels incredibly unwelcoming unless you’re buddies with the right people. Over the top amazing staff. Great location- out of the way in central Calgary. Cannot use the audio feature of cell phones while on the premises and no t-shirts or denim. There is a cell phone room if you need to take a call. Catering is AMAZING. Great place to host an event.

I drop equipment off for them on a regular basis, always super friendly.

I wish I could just put no stars to start this review, and I must understand why. Why would a country club of this statute ever decide to post a job listing with no required experience; my self I have 4 years! of flipping service experience and I'm only 19, on top of that I come from a family business from Longview and it's the Little NEW YORK BISTRO, and yet when I go and decide to call 10 PLUS TIMES!! Attended a function here. What a beautiful gem. Well manicured, well kept, top notch service and amazing food. Now considering a membership!

Went for breakfast after Mass, nice to see the facility open early to accommodate members and guests. Wait staff, gracious, efficient, French toast yummiest. Views out the dining room, no golfers yet but lots of wildlife. Room is comfortable and quiet. Never had a bad meal here.

Had lunch here with a member today. The food was great and even got to meet the chef. Its nice to see a place in the city where cellphone use is non-existent. I can't remember the last time I ate a meal and didn't see people looking at their phones the whole time. The staff all seem very friendly and knew the majority of their guests... advantages of being a member I suppose. Can imagine how beautiful the grounds are during the summer time. I was there in winter and it was nice.

I was invited to a mutual fund seminar where I found the chairs comfortable and sound perfect. The food and drink offered after the seminar was delicious and enjoyed by all.
