In summary

Cape Arundel Golf Club is praised for its charming, historic layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, offering a unique golfing experience with a sense of history and strategic play. However, some visitors express disappointment with the high fees relative to the course's short length and limited amenities, noting the absence of a restaurant or driving range access for non-members. Despite its association with the Bush family, some golfers feel the course does not justify its premium pricing.

I’ve played a lot of golf all across the country. And I’ve played a lot of golf “Top 100” golf courses. Let me tell you…this place is wonderful. I had such a great time playing this one. The fairways were generous, greens were probably about average size, but they had plenty of undulation and they rolled great. This is a place I could play every day.

Had the unexpected opportunity to play this wonderful, historic course that doesn't worry about whether or not it's "long enough". It simply provides one of the most enjoyable rounds of golf anyone will ever experience. Although short by modern standards, the greens are an experience in and of themselves. You won't need to be a big hitter, but you WILL need to be able to be creative. Throw in the fact that it's the "Golf Course of Presidents", and you'll never regret teeing it up at Cape Arundel.

So happy I scored my hubby a tee time here. This is the course that George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush always play(ed). They accept non-members three days out. Hubby said it was a challenging and beautiful course.

Magnificent golf club. Incredible history. Oozes architecture and strategy. Friendly staff. High level agronomy. National monument. A must play at least once in your life.

Stunning piece of property . Has to have the nicest putting green on the planet. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. This is the model for a private course that allows public play. Greens and mounding are excellent Lots of great drives over the river and par 3s over it as well

Very good junior rates but expensive for adult. Course was in very good condition with fast and challenging greens. Starter was very helpful and so was staff. Large selection of shirts, clubs, and hats in the pro shop.

Was expecting a lot more quality with the price of this course. The fairways were rock solid and couldn’t take a divot. The course is extremely short and lacks challenge other than some tricky pin placements. There is no restaurant, bar, or anything of the sorts on the premises. Yes, the staff was very nice, but that doesn’t make up for $185 greens fees for a course that is no where near worth half of that. I’ve played nicer courses in New England and New York for $60 than this. This is hands down the most overrated course I’ve ever played in my 30 years of golfing. Looking for a much nicer co…

Played the course July 27th and was pretty disappointed for the price you pay. This is what I’d call a TOURIST TRAP. $250+ to play, no food or drinks and took me 5 hours to play. I hit the ball 290 off the tee and never pulled more than a 50 degree into a green except the lone par 5 that I had a 7 iron. It may have been a good layout in the early 1900’s but the course holds no challenge or layout worth that kind of money. All day it was a driver then a short pitch. Course conditions were average.

Decent course, I know golf rates have been skyrocketing recently but this course takes it to another level. $250 for this course is a straight up scam. Do not play for that price

Played August 1st course is in decent shape layout is ok but for $265 it’s outrageous. A normal municipal course down south charges $50 for something similar. Outside staff super helpful but I would not waste your money on this pitch and putt 5900 par 69

Play this course many times and just recently played it again. I would say that the course conditions were good. They were not great. The courses very challenging with postage stamp greens that are not flat. I would also say that I played here in a MSGA 🏌️‍♂️⛳️ event and other than that, I probably wouldn’t play there because the fees I believe are like $185 to play there which is absolutely ridiculous and this course is not worth $85 to play there. It is a public course but they treat it like a private course. in the course does not feature any kind of bar restaurant nothing this Course is no…
