In summary

Webhannet Golf Club is often praised for its beautiful course layout, excellent greens, and scenic coastal setting, providing a challenging yet enjoyable golfing experience. Many visitors appreciate the friendly and welcoming staff, although some find the course fees to be on the higher side. We just played this course a few days ago. Only played 9 holes and it cost us $118 with a cart, PER person. For 9 holes mind you. Other than the greens, which were in excellent shape, the rest of the front 9 was burnt to hell, just deplorable conditions for the price. They should be embarrassed charging what they did knowing the course was a dog track. Do yourself a favor, just light your money on fire. It'll be a better experience.

Simply put "Beautiful little club!" This southern Maine gem has everything you are looking for. Course conditions are great. The location offers privacy, yet is mere steps away from the beach. The layout is a great combination of challenging and "feel good". Kudos to the Webhannet on course staff!

I had never heard of the course until I played there. It really is a hidden gem. Even though the course is only 6100 yards, it plays long. Most of the par 3s are over 200 yards and there are only one or two short par fours. You don't get a lot of roll on the fairways and the rough is rough. Great layout. They don't have a bar there but the day we played, there was a group on the patio and they must have brought their own cooler of beer.

$101 to play nine holes on freshly aerated greens and the mosquitoes were relentless…BTW - it was 1 PM with the sun out. Made it awfully difficult to enjoy the day.

From Afar the course looked beautiful, but the pro refused to let us play due to the fact my 77 year old grandfather was wearing a pair of brand new, freshly pressed shorts that happend to have pockets on the side. If you do read the rules before traveling 200 miles to come play golf, they do specify that cargo shorts are not allowed, however, it was the mannor in which the pro delivered this information to us that was appalling. He was completely rude, demeaning, and humiliating, almost as thoigh we didn't deserve to breath the same air. Long story short, make sure you read all the rules befo…
