In summary

Cazenovia Park Golf Course is appreciated by some for its friendly staff and suitability for beginners, offering a decent 9-hole layout with good-sized greens. However, many visitors express dissatisfaction with the course's maintenance, citing overgrown fairways and poorly kept greens, as well as issues with customer service, including unprofessional interactions with staff and problems with booking tee times. The course is generally seen as affordable, but some feel the pricing does not match the quality of the experience.

I'm not sure if we just happened to golf on a bad day or what.... but you shouldn't have to spend a lot of time (or ANY time, for that matter) searching for your ball ON THE FAIRWAY... the grass was just very long and the overall upkeep was poor...I know it's not a fancy country club or a professional course, but I was definitely disappointed. I have golfed here before and while it has never been AMAZING... it was decent for the price you pay. However, the grounds were definitely not up to par (no pun intended) at my most recent visit. I'm still giving it 3 stars because this was an isolated i…

Older park staff is not pleasant. Booked a tee time today and my daughter(9) wanted to go with me, walked up and was greeted with "what you brought a caddy? I said "yes, she's the best haha" and was met with a scowled face to my reply. For a public park that is not well kept (by that I mean you could lose your ball in the fairway.. rough is just unmowed and mostly weeds, at least half the ball washers don't have towels attached and the greens have barely any undulation and have brown spots.) the price is criminal. (Mind you I'm a resident so it's supposed to be cheaper) I paid 19 dollars for g…

It's a well kept course and the greens are hilly. Going back to this course soon. Had a great time.

I don’t know if the employees hate me, but it seems every time I try and book a tee time, I get horrible service. The first time I went last year, the course was in shambles, with a few greens just. Being half brown. Then I’ve tried to go twice this season, the first time I asked for a tee time for a double, and the man laughed at me over the phone and made no attempt to book. Then a few days ago, I asked for a tee time for 4 people, and it just didn’t sound like he wanted business, he sighed very loudly, making me feel like he didn’t want me to golf on his course. Overall the course is fine,…

I like playing Cazenovia over South Park. Staff here are very friendly. Of course, some of the tee boxes could be worked on (for example, holes 4 and 9 white). But I manage. There are walking carts and golf carts, which are helpful.

I can’t give it 0 or I would. I booked a 5:24 tee and selected “with cart”. We get there and they tell me there’s “no carts”- there were several. “You can walk if you want”- worst service of any place in Buffalo. These guys hate making money. Will never attempt to go back or recommend it to any person I talk to ever again. Not to mention, the cash register either didn’t work or the guy operating it straight up didn’t want us to golf. Incompetence isn’t the right word for the staff there. That’s being too nice

Awesome conditions with fast greens and challenging track. By far one of the best 9 hole course tracks near Syracuse.

Worst golf experience of all time and never coming back. Played in a scramble with a group of 4 and he was screaming at us on the first tee box when we each took one practice swing and was chirping at kids to hurry up. Ruined the whole experience for us and on the 9th hole he told us we’re not allowed to get golf carts again, and yelled at us in the 9th hole to hurry up. Very unprofessional, would give a negative review if I could.

Greens were terrible and it’s expensive 35 for 9 with cart and don’t take cash only take card. Fairways were also way over grown
