In summary

Grover Cleveland Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained greens and affordable pricing, with many golfers enjoying the course layout and the opportunity to walk. However, there are frequent complaints about customer service, particularly regarding the pro shop staff's attitude and the management of golf carts. Some players also note issues with the condition of fairways and bunkers, as well as the inconvenience of league play during peak hours.

Great course! Fairways were in great shape, as were the greens. Price was a steal. Would definitely play here again.

The pro shop staff were extremely rude and had 0 customer service skills, entered the shop and the guy was watching South Park and being incredibly dry and rude the entire time. (I think he’s the owner). Told we weren’t allowed to rent carts or rollers past 5pm after we paid as well. Shame because the course is decent but the pro shop ruined it, fix your customer service fellas, this isn’t Augusta

Nice short course. Greens are always in good condition and fairways are also well kept. Great course to walk 18 as its a par 69 course with some challenging par 3s. Back 9 can be a bit weird with some overlapping holes but overall solid public course for the price

Jim should trade his golf cart for a high horse with the customer service we experienced. Came up to us 4 holes in to scold our pace of play (told us we should be playing a 10 minute hole for a foursome LOL) all the while having a group in front of us the entire time. Wouldn’t return based on the customer service alone. There’s many nicer courses for the same cost

Very poor customer service. Sense of entitlement would make you think you were about to play Augusta national. The starter argued with us for 20 min for doing exactly what we were told to do 10 hours earlier. Then decided he wanted money and an apology to let us play…. Highly recommend playing somewhere else

Nice course. Play here if you'd rather walk than use a cart. They charged me $24 for a cart for 18 holes during the week. Most expensive place I've played this year.

Great course. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the 9 hole is not near the clubhouse or parking lot. Instead, you need to play through the 11th hole to call it a day.

I golf here pretty often. The course is in decent shape in my opinion. Here are the problems: Too many leagues- if you want to play after work during the week, good luck. There are a lot of leagues that play which make it hard to get out there around 4-5, unless you want to wait 15 minutes to tee off at each hole. They should really have non-league players start at 10 while he leagues (who only play 9) start at 1. Not sure who makes the rules for this place, but that should be looked at. All but one staff member are amazing; they’re down to earth, nice and really work with you to get you out…

I’ve been here 2 times and both times were bad experiences and the course was not well maintained and always seems drenched in water. The only part of the course that I enjoyed were the greens. They were different, well designed and challenging. This course may have been great at one point in time when it held the US Open in 1912 but over the 108 years since it has only gone downhill.

The first part of the drainage project is clearly a success. The course is in its best May condition in many years. The next 2 phases should result in a first rate public course. Great job and whoever finally convinced the county to invest in the course infrastructure deserves a gold medal. It will pay for itself.

Since the pandemic began, I have golfed here probably 30 times, but my most recent experience was the absolute worst. There were no carts available (even though three were sold directly in front of us), the owner simply told us "we could walk". The owner was also incredibly rude and his customer service skills were questionable at best. My best advice would be to go when the girl is working the window she is very friendly and inviting, but the owner made me never want to give him another dollar of mine.

Very affordable but bunkers have no sand whatsoever and many fairways are a mess and are in dire need of attention by a groundskeeper. Greens were in great shape. This course has the potential to be 5 star but work needs to be done.
