In summary

Brighton Park Golf Course is appreciated for its approachable and relatively forgiving layout, making it suitable for both beginners and seasoned golfers. The course is generally well-maintained with decent greens and offers amenities like a driving range, although some visitors note occasional rough patches and a slow pace of play. While many commend the friendly staff, there are concerns about inconsistent customer service and preferential treatment for residents, as well as some dissatisfaction with the condition of certain areas of the course.

my buddies and I love Brighton! Super approachable and relatively forgiving course. Easy to get out and play on any given day. Not to mention a good value!

A bit pricey for what's offered, but still worth it. Fairways are wide open, greens are in decent condition. Feels like a walk through a park. Upside is the amenities - great to have a driving range on the course.

Course is flat but is long enough to play driver with some dogleg holes. Conditions need a little bit of work but still playable. No carts after 6:30pm during summer hours. Some rough dirt patches in fairways but nothing bad. Lots of beginners here so expect a slow round.

This review only concerns the Starter or Golf Cart attendant on the first hole. I don’t like to leave reviews like this but I think accountability is important. The older gentleman in question was quite unfriendly towards my friend and I as we approached the first hole and picked up the cart. This is not the kind of attitude you want to come across when starting a round of golf. We did everything he asked and didn’t step on his toes in the slightest, however, he came off pretty hostile towards us. This is a position that requires you to interact amicably with patrons. That’s the standard.

First time playing there. Played with a good buddy who is a regular. Nice course. My buddy's shorts could have been a little longer and not so tight...but that's life.

This place has in my opinion become a lot better and seems like the fairways, greens, trees, etc have been improved and maintained better than in years past…way better kept than sherdian this year( Sheridan seemed to better kept in year past compared to Brighton) …hopefully the improvements keep coming!

Course and greens are in rough shape.. ground is like cement.. played a Sunday was waiting 20-30 minutes a hole. Asked for a refund of 9 holes because we only played 9. Refused a 9 hole refund. I'll never golf at this course again.

Maintained well enough to get a good round in. Fees are fair for this course.

Course in terrible shape. Fairway grass long, rough uncut. Areas in fairway that had water damage never reseeded. Tees chewed up, worst I've seen. Poor course grounds management with regard as how to rotate tee markers to heal the tee boxes. Other courses in WNY have seen the same weather and are in great shape. Not worth the money. Town of Tonawanda should be ashamed of this golf course. Should have built their town splash pad in the sand traps at Brighton. Sad.

Played 18 this morning. Course tee sheet was pretty full but the lady working was very kind and was able to get me a time early. I teed off around 6:30 am, little bit of fog but cleared up quickly. Staff was super nice and course was in nice condition. I'd play it again if I come back up this way.

Great town course, well kept, decently challenging, I think I paid 60 something for 18 with a cart. Making a tee time was a big pain in the butt. Supposedly if you're a resident it's easier to do(cheaper too). Decent value though.
