Cedar Rock Country Club

Was invited to dinner here and absolutely loved it! I’m actually amazed. I had no idea Caldwell County had this quality of venue and food. The dinner theme was Caribbean and my expectations were far exceeded. Six courses paired with 6 wines… Seafood Escoviche, Burnt Sugar Oxtail, Jerk Chicken, Coconut Ice Cream with Pineapple Tart. All this in the beautiful foothills setting surrounded by mountains and streams.

We had our wedding at Cedar Rock this October and it was amazing! All of the staff were so nice and helpful! George was the best event coordinator ever! He made sure that everything ran smoothly on our day and it did! They made our special day even more special! 10/10 recommend!

Beautiful place to play. I tried a few courses in the mtn area, but this one by far has the best view with quality conditions. The course is in great shape overall, and the drive is very scenic along the way!

I would have to give this place five stars for the golf course alone ( really that's about the extent of my knowledge of the place lol) the best I have played on in the area ....but not an easy one by any means ... definitely a few challenging holes and greens..but in nearly pristine condition .....and both times I played here this past summer there weren't very many people playing other than me ..... very good experience with this place as far as I'm concerned..... LOL......

The starters are rude and annoying. Sent a group of 8 carts of their friends and blamed my family who was waiting every hole they hit for the wait. The restaurant was awesome though.

Course was in good shape. Greens were outstanding. Only a couple of fairways seemed a little rough. Overall a great course. I will definitely play it again. Update on course. Played 8/3/24 Course is in much better shape than 6 years ago. I do recommend playing here. We were the 1st group out so no wait. Still found ball marks in the greens from the kid tournament that was played the day before.

This course is excellent... particularly the greens. Long, tough, and great track. Faster greens as the weather cools too.

Nice golf course and very friendly people.

I seen a post from two weeks ago that said the greens were in great shape but I played today 9/15/2024 and they were absolutely terrible. It looked like the mower had dug channels on entire surface on every green. Was very disappointed. Fairways were in good shape and layout is great. Would be a great course if greens were much better.

Beautiful course. Every hole had a unique and cool layout.

Played with a group of 32 players for a one day tournament. I have played the course previously and the conditions on the course showed a lack of care by the maintenance crew. Debris on greens showed they hadn’t been mowed or even blown off. Fairways were in need of mowing. The lack of care made the course less enjoyable than was expected.

Very nice course with holes that challenge your course management strategies. Greens are nice and firm. Met some great people and the staff was awesome.
