In summary

Orchard Hills Golf Course receives mixed reviews, with some visitors appreciating the course's layout and occasional good condition, particularly noting improvements in bunkers and tee boxes. However, many guests express dissatisfaction with the course's maintenance, particularly the greens, and report negative experiences with customer service, including issues with management's attitude and policies on rain checks and fees for non-playing riders. Overall, while some find value in the course, others feel the experience is lacking compared to other local options.

My husband has played here twice, playing a 3rd time today. He’s participating in their weekly tournament. Last time he won a decent amount even though he said he didn’t play well which is pretty awesome! Anyway, so far, he seems to really enjoy playing golf at this course.

Went to play 18 today with some family. We were rushed out of the club house after sitting down halfway through to take 5 minutes to eat and use the facilities. We then waited on the rain to pass..just like everyone else. Began playing again once rain became slight drizzle to none. Around hole 15/16 a group of players two-three spaces behind us began being rude and rushing us along. (Literally drove up to us and yelled across the greens to hurry along). There were people in front of us so we could not go any faster. Needless to say, it’ll be some time before we’re ever back on that course. We…

Would not recommend this course, for the price I would gladly pay a little more to get a much better experience. Course is not in the best shape and the staff nearly ran myself and my friend over with the mower. My friend hit the ball in the fairway off the tee and the guy mowed a foot away from it throwing grass all over it, then came back around while we were hitting and literally got so close stuff was hitting us. My friend actually caught something in the face from stuff flying at us. It was unreal, he never turned the mower off and literally ran us off the hole.

Greens are terrible, completely unputtable. First pin was actually OFF the green… They should inform you of any green work when you schedule a tee time!

Grumpy old man at the desk was a complete jerk and very rude, place is also a complete dump. Looks like a nursing home.

Driving range always closed even though it says it has a driving range, so you better call first.

Not a fan greens punched horrible shape didn’t let us know about it. Guy got onto us because we had a group of 6 playing 2 seperate T times and we decided to switch so we could all play with each other at least some. Mind you not a single person is in sight behind us so we weren’t holding up anyone. We were playing more than fast enough and respecting the course.

Not really impressed with the course. It's not well maintained and the fairways are OK except for the areas where it's almost bare. Greens are OK but could be better maintained. Cart paths are like a roller coaster ride and if you don't go slow, it's kind of like riding on a pot filled road and a very bumpy ride. As some have mentioned, the rep at the front desk is lacking any personality and not particularly friendly. Price is OK for this level of course but if they maintained the course better, I think most would not mind paying a little more.

Don’t recommend this place. The owner/employee at register gave attitude and we did not feel welcome.

I'd rather putt on gravel than the greens here. The course is in horrible shape and the attitude/s from employees makes it much worse. No reason to charge full price on your course that is basically a driving range until the horrendous greens are fixed.

Played 9/24 with my wife. Course is in great shape, looks like a couple of bunkers have be re worked with new sand. Tee boxes have been moved around to add a challenge. Will definitely come back.

A complete waste of money. I recommend any other local course, or simply find another hobby. The greens are just dirt, and yet they treat the customers poorly. It’s definitely a “ tee shirts and cuttoffs “ type of course.
