Played today (September, 8th). The course is in phenomenal shape. There are much better reviews describing the course itself, but if you’re looking for a quick 9 inside the city this is your best bet. Great staff, great greens and a lot of fun.

UPDATED Review: Updating to 5 stars now that the course, specifically the greens, are in MUCH better shape than last year. I had to stop playing here last year because some of the greens were mostly bare dirt and unplayable. I decided to give it a shot again recently and the difference is night-and-day. I’ll definitely be playing here more often! Original Review: Nice public course but overpriced for the quality and the fact it’s just 9 holes. It’s a fun and scenic course but the some of the greens seriously need a lot of work, even after the recent renovation.

Front desk were nice people. Greens were in great shape. A short course with A couple par 4s where you have to carry a decent amt of water. A few tight fairways. Some nice elevation changes and slope. A couple longer par 3s. All of this made it fun and challenging

This is a great facility! The range was in good condition and the staff, Ms. Justice especially, was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Best 9 Holer I've played. Great walk, variety in holes. Take your buddies, and get out of traffic until dark! Wish this was in my home town. They need more water coolers on the course, that's the only downfall.

Awesome Executive Golf Course. A little 'sib' to East Lake nextdoor. If you're hitting them deep, straight and long go check out Charlie Yates, you're sure to enjoy!!

10 minute gaps between tee times is so disrespectful to the players. I have never waited a minimum of 20 minutes at all 9 tee boxes on the course. Not her nor any course I’ve ever played in my life. I won’t be coming back until I see a 15 minute gap minimum between available tees. Either that, or marshals need to enforce a 10 minute maximum per hole.

Charlie Yates Golf Course is the best 9 hole course I have ever played! So well kept, very reasonable prices, and an amazing driving range. I always had a very pleasant experience at the course and I would highly recommend. Also, shout out to Beth, the best golf instructor I have ever had! If anyone is looking for lessons, I would strongly encourage you to work with Beth, she is amazing!

Good quick par 3/4 course. Challenging with the uphills, but fun. Watch out for wildlife

The course benefits from its location, the 9 hole is also a nice layout The range is very sandy. If you don’t get there first thing on a grass hitting day, it will be mostly sand. This also makes it hard to practice wedge shots, as it’s not very similar to a fairway The range also needs wooden planks to divide hitting areas. Throughout the day it gets worse until there are a lot of awkward gaps between golfers, the divot lines all blend into each other, and less golfers fit on the range than if it was divided

Fantastic Staff! I take my 10 year old daughter to the driving range here frequently and today I forgot my wallet running out of the house. I tried to pay with Google Pay on my phone and don't think they had the capability but Winston at the front counter had a 50 ball ticket on the house for her. It made her day because if I had to drive back to get my wallet we would not have had time for her to hit balls today. Great range and neat little course in the neighborhood, highly recommend them. Thanks again Winston!
