A Hidden Gem for Golfers of All Levels Chelmsford Country Club offers one of the best public golf experiences in the Merrimack Valley. While it’s a 9-hole course, the layout is thoughtfully designed with two sets of tees, allowing for a full 18-hole experience that’s both enjoyable and moderately challenging. The course is well-maintained year-round—greens are consistently smooth and fairways kept in great shape. Staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming, which enhances the overall experience. The pro shop is compact but well-stocked with essentials, and tee times are usually…

One of my favorite courses, specially the location. They have kept the grounds fairly well and they are not overpriced. Overall, friendly staff and decent place for beginners and intermediate golfers.

I do not care what you think as the owner. I know what happened and I have no reason to lie about this as I have nothing to gain. I am simply letting people know the absolute awful experience I had at this course. An old man with dentures and long hair came and threatened me and my group unprovoked, you can think what you want but the people at this course are awful. It shows how this course is ran considering every review that leaves constructive criticism you come back with rude replies. Don’t own something if you’re not prepared to hear genuine criticism

Nice little course! Greens can be tricky to hold. Only a few chances to hit the big stick for longer players. Derek in the shop was very helpful. Will come back again!

Love this little course. It’s beginner friendly, bu still challenging enough to keep you honest. The rates are fair and the grounds crew does a good job of keeping the course in decent shape. I only wish they had a kitchen, or at least set up a grill and made hot dogs. Until then, you’ll have to pack a lunch if you plan on playing 18.

Awful treatment at the course. An old man, presumably a groundskeeper came up to my group and stared at us. We waited for him to say something but nothing was said so I thanked him and walked away. He proceeded to threaten me and my group and call me all sorts of names. Eventually getting out of his cart and trying to knock my bag over and said and I quote “I will kill you.” Never coming back to this course again.

A fun 9 hole course. The layout of the course keeps things interesting with a few holes being pretty challenging (I'm looking at you #8!) A good number of par 3s on the course and the only deficit I'd point out is the real lack of bunkers. As of the time of this review they were completely rebuilding the green on #9 - the prior green sloped front to back making it really difficult!

On plus side cheap to play and fairly short. Good for a reasonably priced 9 holes. Course in good condition On the down side it's another short course that tries to make up for lack of distance by increasing difficulty making fairways very narrow and every green is like a turtle shell. Plus 9th hole was a flag in the middle of fairway 40 yards short of the green with no signs. One and done

Nice crew and very relaxed course you will go again and again. I started my first game here back in April and this course makes you very confident and progressed real quick. You do not want to miss this course.
