Not only is this by far the worst course I've played all year, but Swanson Meadows might be the worst course I've ever played in my life. We spent more time waiting on the gravel tee boxes than we did playing golf. After spending 45 minutes getting through two holes, I called the pro shop to see if we could get reimbursed if we left. They told me they could give me a rain check, but I never want to come back so we continued on... There was no difference from the fairway to the greens. Each green had craters throughout and weeds growing on every inch. It was almost impossible to putt, as you…

This course definitely needs work in places (namely the weedy bunkers), but I think it's greatly improved over some of the previous reviews. The greens were in decent shape, some marks and cuts, but overall fully green and consistent. Holes are relatively interesting, and I like the use of natural rock in places. Could use a par 5, but it is what it is. I think it's definitely worth the 24$ I paid for a pre-work 9 hole round.

Very nice staff. Course is rough. Grass growing in the sand and holes and bare spots on the greens. A value but at a cost sadly don’t think I’ll return

I was accepted into a golf league here and played all summer. Really enjoyable. Never got boring even though you learned where to hit. Fantastic staff on course & in clubhouse. Great bar. Owners are friendly and seem really sincere in improving it, and the conditions got better as the season went on. Really enjoyable late afternoon rounds.

Fun layout. The new owners are trying to get the condition better. The greens are slow and fuzzy but it's still early in the season. Fair price ,$20 walking senior rate. Staff very friendly . Stopped for lunch and a beer, great food, good beer selection and very comfortable bar. I like the lay out, some interesting holes.

We walked this 9 hole course and had a good time. Some of the green and sand traps could use some more love, but overall, I thought it was in decent condition. It does look like they are trying to improve the areas, which is always nice to see. Definitely would go again.

Played on 8/11/23. Def overbooked since we had a 10:30 tee time and we’re 3 groups backed up. The tee boxes were just okay. Some in better shape than others. The fairway was mushy and had some puddles. Poor drainage. But the greens were by far the worst! There was crab grass growing and lots of divots. Was def a challenge putting. Even though the price was okay, I prob won’t golf here again. Other places to play 9 holes in much better shape. Kind of sad…

Had fun playing in the Spark Golf league. I like the layout here as it suits my game. The greens are in tough shape though as they are extremely slow. The ball bounces when you putt, it should roll. If they can work on making the greens better I will adjust this up to 4 or 5 stars.

This golf course changed ownership this year and the difference between this season and last season is night and day. The previous owner did not care for the course at all. She was rude and didn’t have the passion to properly maintain the course. The new owners are great! It’s now ran by a sweet family who obviously cares about reviving the course. It seems like a simple course but there are some tricky holes here. It’s a great place to practice your shot selection and different ways to approach a hole. Beware of slower pace of play. Because the previous owners were so lackadaisical, people…

This place got me for $21 twilight rate 😂. Course is in awful shape and has been for years. This was the cherry on top. Save your money.

It's a good little course. Short so you can do a loop pretty quickly. I was there in November 2021 and I felt the fairways and greens were very well maintained. The bunkers are huge, numerous and deviously placed. That offsets the short yardage. The bunkers are very poorly maintained. Lots of weeds and some hard pan. Its late in the season so I can understand it.

Nice little course, great for beginners with a couple challenging holes with water hazards. Some sandy tee boxes but at least they were all pretty level. Grass on greens was a little long so they were very slow and difficult to putt on but I've seen much worse. Carts were in good shape, no problems there. I'll definitely be returning in the future. Overall good experience.
