In summary

Quail Ridge Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course and friendly, accommodating staff. The 9-hole layout is noted for its challenging design with narrow fairways and water hazards, making it suitable for those seeking a strategic game. While the course is generally appreciated for its affordability and scenic views, some visitors mention issues such as a lack of on-course amenities like a drink cart, occasional slow pace of play, and the need for better navigation aids.

Had a 9:30 tee time at Quail Ridge with my oldest son, Jazz. We showed up a little early and were welcomed by Justin at the Pro Shop—great energy right from the start. It was pushing 95°, so we made the smart call to grab a cart instead of walking. Still, this course is definitely a walker’s dream—smooth layout, easy transitions, and a peaceful vibe from start to finish. We teed off from the blacks (not realizing the tee setup changes if you're playing 9 vs. 18), but it played well. Around hole 7, we were joined by Ron and Tom, two older gentlemen on their second go-around. 50+ years of golf…

Played here in May 2024. Narrow fairways and plenty of water hazards- and the holes aren’t long either so definitely prioritize accuracy over distance. It’s a really 9 hole course but if you play 18, there are variations for where to tee off and multiple greens for the 7th/16th holes. Course is overall well maintained and staff was friendly.

Played 9 holes there today, course was beautiful! Greens were perfect, the scenery gorgeous! Course isn’t too long, able to attempt a few birdie and par putts. Reasonable price for 9 holes I def play there again!!

Great little 9 hole destination! The postage stamp greens remind me of a Donald Ross type course with undulating hills to keep you honest. Highly recommended!

Havent visited but I'm a drone pilot just getting aerial photography of the area I live around. I'm pretty certain this is a great place to visit.

The green is so fantastic ~ But It's a real shame to only 9 holes.

Fun spot for the price. Shorter but challenging 9 hole track. Not many driver holes. Bugs were a problem at times.

First time playing here. Luckily we got to play with a member who graciously showed us the intricacies of the layout (along with some history). Decent 9 hole layout. Pace of play was good. We walked and it is very hilly, not an easy walk. Reasonable greens fees.

Discovered this place right in my backyard. The course is really nice, but the highlight is the staff and patrons. My son and I are beginners, (well, I've been a beginner for 30 years, my son 1 year), and both the staff and other players have been patient and encouraging. Highly recommend for anyone ready to move from the driving ranges and pitch-and-putts to a real course.
