Great experience. Big course. Challenging for the first time. Very well taken care of. Checkin process is quick and easy. Prices are very fair from rentals, to clubs to cart. Would recommend and will visit again.

Greens played so far is in poorest conditions, nearly ever hole played so far. Good course to play, practice rds here ok

First time playing here at Maynard. Mike in the pro-shop was great, very helpful through out the check in process and had great tips on all the areas to avoid. Pace was perfect just under 2 hours for 9 holes. Overall course conditions were great! Tee boxes could use a bit of work but still not bad. Grounds crew was hard at work on multiple holes during the round so I’m sure boxes will turn around in no time. Fees were right in line with most public courses if not slightly cheaper. Definitely coming back to this hidden gem.

Guys running the course there were very kind. Lost my 60 degree on the 8th hole, wasn't there when I went back. They took down my name and gave me a call when someone turned it in, tried to tip them and they wouldn't even take it. On top of that, the course was very well maintained, and was a great layout. Definitely will be back soon!

Course design was fair for the public 9 hole course, but the condition of the course wasn't as good as expected. Too much leaves were on the greens (especially on 5th hole green, pine needles were almost totally covering the green, making it hard to putt). And also many divots on greens (which didn't look like it was repaired everyday). Some teeing areas also needed improvements. But most of all, the man at the pro shop was rude and unfriendly to us. Played a great round of golf, fair prices, decently taken care of, workers taking care of the course on hole 7 were great and interactive. However, at the end on hole 9 while in an intense scramble and unfortunately losing by one stroke I returned to my cart and settled in. Started to drive about 20ft from the putting green in my golf cart and heard some words from behind me. Turned around in the cart and saw an older man saying something to me but ignored it and pulled up to the parking lot, as I did not owe him a conversation at all. A gem, not sure about that the bizarre reviews complaining about staff. Never heard of or seen an issue. Great interesting old school layout and conditions improving rapidly.

3 hours to play 9 holes, pro shop employees have no idea how to manage pace of play. It's a shame because the course is beautiful but the people managing it are incompetent. big boy with the long hair was rude. wont come back here again unless its under new management.

I really love this track, just interesting hole after interesting hole. Not the toughest or longest, but a great place to learn and have fun. Course is in really nice shape right now. Greens are currently better than Shaker, played the day before and the rest of the course is looking better than it has. Great work grounds crew.

Hello, the larger man with long hair at the pro shop was very rude and unfriendly to my group. New golfers should feel welcome at golf courses and he did the exact opposite. I’ve looked through the reviews and i’ve seen a lot of reports saying this man is rude. Maybe something to look into for the future. I definitely will not be returning to this spot.
