In summary

Wayland Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, friendly and accommodating staff, and a layout that is both walkable and suitable for golfers of all skill levels. The greens are highlighted as being particularly well-kept and challenging, and the club offers a welcoming atmosphere with competitive pricing. However, some visitors have noted issues with course congestion, particularly on weekends, and a few have experienced less satisfactory interactions with staff regarding group bookings. Additionally, the proximity of holes and occasional maintenance activities like aeration or sprinklers have been mentioned as minor drawbacks.

Beautiful course. Nice flat and wide fairways with interesting greens. $80 for 18 holes with carts. Taking one star off because holes are quite close to each other with few protection nets/trees. It was a busy Sunday and we heard people shouting “fore” here and there.

Greens were being aerated but in good shape. Shaping up to be a wonderful course this summer! Will definitely be back soon!

Great family-run course for all golfers. I have been playing this course for 30 years & it's a great place for a relaxing day of golf.

Two different courses! Front of the course up until 11 is great for a public course. Then you get to the back and it's a disaster. Holes on top of each other, swaths of fairways non existent. I'd say the front is well worth the hefty green fees but the back makes you feel like you are in a mud race....

Played here in a charity scramble for first time. Perfect course for that kind of event. Good greens and fairways although lots of pivots not replaced (and that was before our tournament started I might add). Course is not particularly long but quite a few interesting holes because of bunkering.

Wayland Country Club is a family friendly facility. The staff is always cordial and helpful. The course is kept in excellent condition despite the many rounds that are played on it. The greens in particular are some of the best around. It is good for all skill levels.

Course is in good shape. Had the sprinklers going off on 1/3 of the greens we were on. Clubhouse closes kitchen early on a gorgeous Saturday. Mehhh.

Been playing here for years and always look forward to my next round. Easy to walk 9 or 18 holes. Great spot for a tourney as well. The staff is always easy going and accommodating as well.

Just played here today and it was great. Very flat and simple layout for the most part, but it was fun. Pretty good conditions, apart from the cart paths. They also have a good practice area and a the guy at pro shop was cool.

Very rude and disrespectful. I guess you get what you pay for when you go to a public course. I would recommend sandy burr over Wayland. 0/5 if I could
