In summary

Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and beautiful scenery, with many appreciating the variety of holes and the wildlife sightings. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful, and the course offers good value, especially given its support for a local educational academy. However, some visitors mention issues with slow pace of play, unclear alcohol policies, and occasional maintenance disruptions during play.

The course and the greens are well taken care of and are in good condition. I had a nice time playing the variety of holes which were a good mix of challenging and more straightforward approaches. Good mix of par 3,4, and 5s. The holes are really close together like a links course and there are quite a few blind tee boxes. Everyone was backed up and close together because of how close the holes are. The pace of place is not enforced and its really slow. It took 4 hours and 30 minutes to play 18 holes as a group of 2. There were several casual groups of 4 to 8 in front and behind us. The Yamaha…

Golf course is almost always in good shape. Some of the best greens around unless the did aeration. Normal maintenance. Good challenge. Straight forward course. Also good value and helps support a school.

Fun yet challenging course in surprisingly good condition. Most of the staff was happy and helpful, though some seemed kinda grouchy. For a par 69 we were surprised at the challenge the course offers. Good carts and paths, decently wide fairways, rough a fair but challenging depth, and nice firm greens. We saw lots of wildlife, including a variety of beautiful birds, a gator, and a coyote. Also love that a percentage of the fees paid go to support the on-site 4-8th grade academy, focused on preventing high school dropouts. Recommend playing here as one of your golf stops!

Great course. Definitely a challenging course. Lots of bunkers and terrain (esp for Florida). Greens and fairways are well maintained.

They need to make it more clear alcohol was banned. People come here on vacation to golf and have fun and if I wanted to golf with no beer I'd go to utah. It's a false bill of goods your selling by not plastering it over your website and other advertising agencies like gold now. sorry if it hurts your sales, but people come here for a fun round only to find out it's lamer than my great aunts Tupperware parties. Also the manager of the driving range is a massive jerk. Y'all get two stars because the course was gorgeous and well maintained, also the pro shop staff was friendly. otherwise it woul…

This is a great little course and generally in good shape. However, the administration of the course needs attention. During our round, almost every green was being mowed and the maintenance team continued even while we were on the green putting. There were several holes where the sprinklers were on full blast and the maintenance crew was sitting along the fairway watching us struggle to hit through the blasts of water. I would like to play here again, but will not because of the foregoing issues.

Great course with holes that at technically challenging. Plenty of water and beautiful scenery. Golf carts are gas powered but in great condition. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

I played Chi Chi's Golf for the first time first if July 25. The course is great fun and was generally in great shape. Four of the holes were cart path only on this date due to recent rains and current maintenance projects but were still very playable. The carts were excellent, the greens had almost completely recovered from recent aeration and most rolled very well. I can't give the course a rating of 5 on this day but would have rated it more like a 4.5 if I could have done so. Will definitely play here again when I the area.

Played last Sunday and was very surprised. It is a beautiful course and hard to believe you are not playing a course up North. There are gently rolling hills, beautiful water, and not crowded. Was very impressed and the best part is I live next door and can play anytime. Highly recommended.

Just played today and was pleasantly surprised at how nice of condition the course is in!! Tees and fairways were nicely maintained, not to mention the greens were in great shape and had good speed to them.. With the leaves trying to change it gave it an up north kinda feel to it which I enjoyed!! Will be back again soon as it was night and day from summer conditions this year

Never again! Absolutely terrible experience at CHI CHI Rodriguez Golf Course. The staff was flat-out rude from the jump—no hospitality, no courtesy, nothing. It started pouring rain while we were on hole 9, and when we went in to ask for a rain check, they basically called us liars and said they “didn’t believe us.” Unreal. To make it worse, the whole course was a swamp. Mud everywhere, zero drainage, felt like we were golfing in a bog. No irrigation system in sight—if you told me this course was built on a marsh, I’d believe it. Save your money and your time. There are plenty of other plac…
