In summary

Dunedin Country Club receives praise for its challenging and well-designed course layout, particularly following recent renovations that restored the original Donald Ross design. The club is also appreciated for its friendly staff, excellent dining options, and enjoyable live music events. However, some visitors express concerns about the high pricing relative to the course's condition, with occasional maintenance issues and slow pace of play noted.

I came down from New Jersey for a winter weekend golf trip and had the honor of playing here. It’s a nice course which I would say is pretty easy overall. The greens can be a little tricky and well protected by sand traps but overall it’s a pretty forgiving course. I’m not sure the normal rates here in Florida but $140 seems very expensive for a round at a place like this.

The course is in very good condition. The layout is harder. Lots of new traps .The new fairways are awesome. The drainage is so much better .The greens are really challenging. With new undulating .My favorite course is now even better 😌

Delicious food with some remarkably good live music from erodyo. This is my first review for live restaurant music actually. But it’s so good I had to say something!

First time on the course so i have no reference to new and old conditions, I would rate the course layout and green and bunker design a 5 star. When you get to the green you know you’re on a Donald Ross course! And the course design overall reminded me of playing pinehurst #1. The conditions were 3 star, thus the overall rating. The course needs water on the tees and fairways (don’t compromise all the great work already done)and go true Pinehurst for all other areas with sand and grass plants and you have a course worth the full rate. Very playable and will return for afternoon rates

Played 1.21. There has been big talk about the renovation and a recent article in golf digest. It was a big disappointment as the course is poorly maintained. Fairways are very thinly covered and greens are in rough shape, I believe they need to do a much better job maintaining the course.

The course continues to go down hill from just a few weeks ago. I brought a friend who was visiting from my hometown. I was embarrassed that he paid $145.00 for this poorly maintained course. Dunedin GC should be ashamed by what they are letting happen to this great course. I will not bring anyone else to this dumpster 🔥. $65 golf course max.

Played the course since re-opening in December 2024. It's in excellent condition and the renovation/restoration couldn't have been executed better. This is a phenomenal course if you're in the area--bats way above its average in terms of value. Looking forward to the rest of the reno pieces settling in and seeing this one age well for years to come.

Played this week while visiting from Sarasota. Always has been a nice course, but the post-renovation pricing is too high - $100 mid-week, off season. City residents get a discount. The renovation was pretty well done and the course is in excellent condition, but not going to pay off-season resort-level price for it.

An absolute gem of a course. Totally restored— excellent routing and bunker placement. Greens coming into their own. Would play again and again.

Played last year when it reopened, can’t believe the condition it has fallen in a year. Greens full of disease or just not maintained. IE: hole replacement, replace hole is either below or ABOVE green level. Fairways are deplorable, scalped? Even the paspalum grass that should be ct to 1.5 inches is less than an inch. Bunker grass.. not sure if ever been mowed , hit into it, you will probably find 3 balls but

I love this golf course! One my new favorites in the area! Open course with hills, trees, a little water & beautiful greens. Course is in great shape too. Friendly staff as well! I’ll be back soon!
