In summary

Choctaw Creek Golf Course receives mixed reviews, with some patrons appreciating its affordability, challenging layout, and friendly staff, particularly highlighting the addition of Charlie's Par and Grill as a positive amenity. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's maintenance, citing issues with the greens, fairways, and cart paths, as well as additional fees for credit card transactions. While some enjoy the course for its unique holes and atmosphere, others feel it needs significant improvements to match the quality of nearby courses.

Not a terrible course. Def worth the price on Mondays. Some solid plays in the back 9. The front desk is not very welcoming - or maybe they just don't like me. :D My only complaint is that they charge $4.50 for ANY Credit Card transaction, instead of the usual 2.5-3%. Makes me wonder if they're skimming some $ off the CC fee.

Course was definitely on the struggle bus. Half the course was underwater and the other half was super dry. Clubhouse staff were super nice, and I had a good time nonetheless. You get what you pay for, and I think it was worth the price.

I had lunch at Charlie's Par and Grill. Nice place with good food and a relaxing atmosphere. I had the grilled chicken bacon sandwich with sweet potato fries and it was really good.

Went to Choctaw Creek on Sunday morning and it was not a good experience. Poanna grass is taking over the greens. There were water leaks in several locations on the course and my grandson and I picked up numerous beer bottles it was just thrown out on the ground. People with driving around in golf carts with kids hanging off the sides. We got there early and even the putting green next to the clubhouse was practically covered with poanna. I was very disappointed. Nice cart but that about it. Can't recommend it

Our son LOVES all things sports. He got a new Scotty putter and couldn’t wait to go the course. A quick round of holes and he was happy!

Course is always in rough shape. The driving range is not marked at all. Pro shop has little to no selection, and greens were some of the worst I've seen . I get it you're "doing work," but it's been like this for 20 years.

This place is an absolute dump. Has to be the worst course anywhere in the OKC area. You cannot tell what is supposed to be fairway or rough. It’s all just weed infested garbage. And then there are the “greens”. This one was unplayable because it looked like it had literally been set on fire and another was unplayable because of the multiple hornet nests on it. Yes. Giant hornets! Pay more to play somewhere else and avoid this mess.

Went to Choctaw Creek to watch our grandson play in the Junior High golf tournament. To rent a cart the attendant said would be $35. The attendant acknowledged that the price was high, but it was dictated by the city mayor. Further, when I checked my credit card receipt, I was charged an additional $4.50 as a “credit card” fee which represents an additional 12.9% unannounced charge to use a credit card. Total charge to rent the golf cart was $39.50. There was no mention of this credit card usage fee by the attendant at any time.

Please pay the extra 5 or 10 dollars and play at John Conrad or Trosper. This is hands down the worst course in town, played this place twice and it’s poorly kept, ugly and the greens are covered in sand with the worst grass that doesn’t even feel like a green. For the price they’re charging go enjoy a pretty course that gives a crap.

Been here twice to play and both times the girl didnt want me starting after 4 because she wanted to close early, even if I was playing 9 holes. I didn't feel like I was welcome at all.
