In summary

Clear Lake Golf Course is highly praised for its stunning scenery, well-maintained greens, and challenging layout that incorporates the natural features of the area. The staff is frequently noted for being friendly and helpful, and amenities such as the food cart and electric golf carts enhance the experience. However, some visitors have reported issues with marshals being overly strict and a few instances of feeling rushed or unwelcome, particularly among newer golfers.

It's about a 3 hour drive from Winnipeg, but it's well worth the drive. Weekend camping trip and a great round of golf. Minutes away from the camp site, there is an amazing golf course. Greens and fairways are extremely well kept. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Lots of hills and slopes, which make it a challenging course. Besides the course, the views are amazing, which made the round more relaxing and enjoyable. Will definitely be back for camping and another round of golf.

What an amazing course. Have played this course on and off through the years and always astonished at how challenging and beautiful this is. The staff was wonderful, from the tee shop attendant letting us know the greens have been recently sanded to the starter giving us advice on our first shots. The cart girls we’re pleasant to deal with and we never went more than 3-4 holes without seeing one. Make sure you grab a breakfast sandwich at the turn, real egg, slice of proper cheese, thick sausage, and a piping hot English muffin. I would love to learn more about the history of the course as I’…

Very challenging course, with picturesque scenery and surroundings. When golfing this course take in the beauty of how the course has been sculpted with the natural features of Riding Mountain. You will find a lot of blind shots on this course that offer a challenge but are not punishingly blind.

Gorgeous views on this pristine course. The rolling hills were an added challenge that we enjoyed. Played in September on a warm fall day. Will be adding this course to the annual golf course list. Can't wait to return!

This course has the potential to be an easy 5-star experience — the grounds are beautiful and it’s been a tradition of ours to come play here. Unfortunately, the marshal today really dampened the entire round. He hovered around every tee box and made us feel rushed and scrutinized, especially as women trying to improve our game. I’m newer to golf, and while I don’t always hit the perfect shot, I come out to learn and enjoy myself. Instead of encouragement, we were met with judgment. It left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Sadly, I don’t think we’ll be returning after today’s experience…

Nicely manicured course. Unusual layout with multiple blind shots. You'll need to play a couple times to figure out the best shot selections. Friendly staff!

As always my favorite course to play. Greens need some warmth to get past the winter kill but they were good after receiving several inches of snow week before.
