In summary

Poplar Ridge Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained fairways and greens, attractive layout, and friendly staff. The course offers a variety of amenities, including a driving range and clubhouse, and is noted for its scenic setting with beautiful homes and wildlife. However, some visitors have experienced slow pace of play due to large groups and have found the navigation between holes to be confusing. Additionally, the challenging greens have received mixed feedback, with some golfers finding them difficult to play.

Beautiful open course with nice scenery. Gorgeous houses of various designs are scattered throughout the course which are fun to look at. Navigation from hole to next tee can be confusing, signage could be improved to help point in right direction. Would love to play again!

Wow wow wow! Great 18 hole grass green course! Smooth fareways! Fees will not break the bank. You can practice to improve your game with the Driving range and Chipping range. Clubhouse has attire, supplies, and a patio bat/food. Definitely a great place to golf.

Had a good time playing this course. They did a good job in the course design. A few tea boxes were new/uncut and shaggy. I was not a fan of the mounded greens as they were very tough to hit in regulation.

Couldn't play the Clear Lake course due to a tournament, however was pleasantly surprised with Poplar Ridge. The course was in great shape and it was easy to get a tee time in mid August. Not really any tricked up holes, and only a couple blind tee shots. Green speeds seemed to be average, however I played in the very early morning so they were still quite wet. The only knock against it was that while it is walkable, there are long walks between holes, and #9 is far from the club house. Will definitely be returning though. Update August 2021 - The course is in fantastic shape. The area seems…

Tough course and quite long! The only downside are the greens, way to many turtle backs considering the difficulty of just getting on them.

First time being here and it was a great experience! Very nice looking course with well kept fairways and greens! Was able to fly through 18 in just over 3 hours with the pace moving along quite well! If you are in the area I would recommend trying it out!

Have played the course before. Always in great shape. Today however was not particularly enjoyable, course was busy, as expected. Was asked 3 times, as we were a twosome to join the twosome ahead or behind us to speed things up, by the course marshall. After the front 9 playing in just under three hours we saw there was a 4some, three groups ahead that was the problem, not the busyness of the course. We skipped holes 12 and 13, to get ahead of the slow 4some and finished the last 5 holes in less than an hour, as there was no one left ahead of that 4some. Course Marshall needs to deal with slow…

I've given up on this course. Management has not listened to people about the greens on this course. It is NOT a fun course to play as 16 of 18 greens are hard as rock and domed. Clear Lake and Minnedosa offer a much better experience.
