In summary

Sandy Lake Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained 9-hole layout, which is particularly suitable for beginners and families seeking a recreational game. The friendly staff and excellent food at the clubhouse, featuring generous portions and a varied menu, are also highlighted as standout features. While most visitors appreciate the course's condition, a few have noted that the fairways can be rough and the greens occasionally challenging to read.

Food was delicious and definitely left me with a full stomach. Stayed at the cabin here and I have to say it was awesome, caught a killer lightning storm. Overall, a great establishment and very nice folks. Not sure when i’ll be back in sandy lake but i’ll make sure to revisit here 😁.

Our first impression was great! This 9 hole course is in beautiful shape, and just perfect if you are looking for a recreational game of golf. It was picturesque and not too challenging, which made it an enjoyable round for our whole family. I highly recommend that you plan to eat at the clubhouse after your round, as the food was great too! Portions were very generous, and the pizza was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend for a family outing!

Tasty hand made food from scratch. We had the burger, schnitzel, fries and beef noodle soup, all of which were superb. Also had a chance to have a chat with the friendly co owner of the golf course and restaurant.

Wonderful 9 hole golf course, and i believe it is family run! Grass greens. Very reasonable green fees. Clubhouse has restaurant (closed Mon and Tues). Small selection of attire. Fareways tend to be a bit rough, so go slower if driving a cart.

Went here for my brother-in-law's birthday dinner. The schnitzel is excellent, with hand-foraged wild mushrooms in the sauce. The half-rack of ribs were very good. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Chef came to the table to check and chat. Would go here again.

Great golf on this nine hole course. At the club house enjoy their delicious food. Nice burgers, moist chicken in a very nice batter, and probably the best coleslaw I ever had.

Great place for beginners, my 2 son's and my dad( 1st time golfer at 71 years old) had a great time today. Fairways are wide and straight so didn't lose too many balls. Greens were in great shape too.

Did not golf, had lunch. Menu has plenty of options. Food was good. Service friendly. Happy to have this local option.

Over priced for what they have to offer, fairways here are considered rough elsewhere, and greens are often to burnt to get any solid read. I would recommend any of the other local courses Clear lake, Poplar ridge, Minnedosa as they are close in fees but drastically different in playing experience
