Gilbert Plains Country Club

Course was in excellent condition! Boston, at the Pro Shop was fabulous and assisted us when it was pouring rain with help to our vehicle. The cooks had coffee and a visit with us as we waited to see if would quit. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The holes are long from the forward tees and the dog legs can make the course tricky. The greens were nice and soft - made it easy to land and stick. Rained out after 13! Planning on returning tomorrow to try all 18 holes.

Got the opportunity to go out and play Gilbert Plains Country Club Golf Course this weekend. Course was in great shape. Greens were fast and fairways tight. Rented cart and clubs - King Cobras. Had a great morning with the sun shining and no rain. If you haven’t played this course give your head a shake and get out before the seasons over.

Wow what a gorgeous little hidden gem!!! We had the pleasure of playing this amazing course on Monday and Tuesday. The course is in incredible shape and the staff were very helpful and friendly!!! The food was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

This course is great. First time and it was worth the time. Better signage in certain places would be better.

The golf course is beautiful. The campground is spacious and surrounded by trees. A brand new splash park has been installed for the kiddos. The club house restaurant has delicious food with excellent prices!

A wonderful golf course and one of the best kept secrets in Manitoba and the Parkland. They have an excellent menu with daily specials in the clubhouse restaurant. If you are just going there for a meal, the walk across the bridge and Valley River along the 9th hole and green gives you an at-home experience. A treasure and surprising dining experience and worth the trip down into the river valley where the course and restaurant are located. A must-try for the tourist at least once which may make you want to return for the taste, reasonableness, and sights. Will be open again before May long we…
