In summary

Cold Spring Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout with hilly terrain, and friendly staff. The club offers a variety of tees to suit different skill levels and features appealing amenities, including a restaurant with scenic views. While the restaurant service can be slow during busy times, many appreciate the quality of the food and overall dining experience.

The course was in great shape. Fairways were lush, greens were fast. You probably could walk it but I would recommend taking a cart. There are a few holes where the green to tee is a long way. It's also a bit hilly. The restaurant is very nice sitting high over the course with nice views. Service was a bit slow, in all fairness it was a shotgun start so we all got finished about the same time.

A fairly new restaurant on-site, only 4-6 weeks in, I believe. Tables on the Green. We were not quite sure where to park when we arrived. While there is a sign on the main road, there isn't one to direct you once you get up there. The lower level is the golf shop, so we walked around up the hill. Luckily, the first door had a small green placard, which said restaurant. We were greeted by the bar atendant within a couple of minutes of entry. It appeared there were 3 waitstaff working the tables. Decent volume and all ages of patrons. Coffee and tea were quick to appear. Both of us received men…

Great 18-hole golf course. Great price for the condition of the course. There are lots of hills that make the game a bit more challenging. Friendly staff in a great location with a really nice range!

Slope needed on scope Idyllic paths between holes Hygrometer weeps Challenging course in excellent condition. Long day walking but worth it. A good 6 miles on foot and the watch showed 22 floors climbed. Perfect excuse for a cocktail and a break at the turn after pushing up hole 9. There are a handful of paths between holes that are very calming after 3 putt bogeys. First but not last go at this course. Don’t play your draw on #2.

So every once in a while you come across a really fun and interesting course. So allow me to introduce to you Cold Spring CC. I was surprised to learn it was built in 2012 because it's not as long as you'd expect from a course that modern. Then I played it. The overall layout has some hills. That wouldn't be enough to discourage walking, but there are also some very long hauls from green to tee, so take that into account. A wed afternoon would be good to walk it, but a weekend with a full tee sheet? It was a surprise because the roads that lead there go through a flat river valley and I assum…

This is my favorite golf course in the area. Course is always in great shape and with the different tees, there is something for every skill level. Can't wait until the next chance I have to play here!

Great course, even when they airate the greens, they still roll. Great looking course and great service, I didn't even get out of my car before someone met me with a cart. Price was fantastic. Whether I'm paying $50 or $65 here with cart, it's always a go to. Will be playing many more rounds here!

Great 18 holes of golf! Got right out and fairways were awesome(when I hit one). Lunch was awesome. Short staffed and it was very busy. HIGHLY recommend the clam chowder. Pulled pork sandwich was just as good!!!

I don’t know why I don’t play here more often. The course is challenging but fair, the greens are immaculate and there is hardly every anyone playing here. It’s the best kept secret for inexpensive golf on a course that does not reflect the price they charge. Maybe people think that it is not a top course because they charge so little but this is a top track in central/western mass.

Course was beautiful and amazing staff who were very friendly. I called up on hole 8 to get 4 burgers on the turn and the burgers took an hour to be done and didn’t taste good. Overall a great experience and would 100% comeback.
