In summary

Westover Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained and challenging layout, featuring long holes and forgiving fairways, making it a popular choice among golfers in western Massachusetts. The staff is frequently highlighted for their friendliness and helpfulness, and the course offers good value for the price. However, some visitors have noted issues with the condition of the greens and occasional slow pace of play, particularly on weekends. Additionally, there are mixed opinions regarding the presence of political signage and the treatment of diverse patrons.

Very nice place for a public course. Long holes to play makes it fun. Alot of people walking this course will slow you down tremendously.

Ive played here a couple of times, and just finished doing a tournament with Operation Veteran Vacation. The coarse is nice and well kept, most of the holes are played on fairly level ground but there are definitely a few with decent elevation changes. I do think one of the more challenging things about this coarse compared to those that I usually play is the par 4s and 5s are significantly longer.

The best kept Public course by far in western MA! No burn spots, greens perfect condition, friendly staff at a very good price! The only complaint is the course is A LOT of dog legs. You need to be able to use long irons on almost every par 4. If Your looking for a great challenging course Westover is it!

Relatively flat, wide and well maintained. Mid-May, and the course is in great shape. Staff inside and out were courteous and helpful. We have played this course for over 20 years and it is still a place we enjoy playing. It's relatively long, yet very fair. Also, the best value ever. We paid $25 for 18 holes, including the golf car. Outstanding value!

The fairways were great, the bunkers were soft and raked, the people are very friendly and helpful and the food was superb. So you'd think I would give them a 5 star rating, but the greens are in deplorable condition and I will wait to play there again until they are better.

I wanted to love this course, so much so I gave it a second chance and then a third. I just can't recommend this place anymore. Pros: Cheap, only $25 with cart Challenging setup with the trees and bunker placements. Not busy both times we came Very nice staff and cart girls Cons: Terrible greens, both times Terrible water build ups due to poor drainage Greens, can't stress this enough are terrible, tons of holes and divots and 4ft sand pouches Last 9 holes, most are looking where the sun sets, so if you play anytime after 2 - enjoy being blind

I grew up in this course, so it's sentimental to me. I love the layout, very long if you're a long ball hitter. Pro is friendly and the bar girls are cute. My too choice for public courses in Western mass. Only bad thing is they pack em in on the weekends. It's average to finish in 5 hours. Other than that, you should definitely play here.

Why is there a "Trump never surrender" sign in front? Assuming y'all put it there, what does that have to do with golf? That has absolutely no business being there, whether it's Trump or Harris. Completely unprofessional and you lost a customer any many more.

This is a nice course, it's very wide and the holes are long. Every now and then you'll have some aircrafts fly low overhead which is pretty cool. There's usually a cute black lab who's in the golf pro shop, hes very friendly. The people who are there are very friendly and accepting of last minute tee times.

Greens were in rough shape but it is a nicely kept otherwise. Outside service was great. They came around often. It is a nice open/forgiving course but the greens were just so bad that it took strokes off my score. Maybe that is normal for the end of the summer though so I can't be too mad.

Great value for a good quality course. Course is always in great shape from tee to green. Long course but forgiving fairways. Staff at the course is friendly and they usually have a beverage cart out.
