In summary

Wyckoff Country Club, under new ownership, has received praise for its upgraded amenities, attentive staff, and enjoyable dining experiences, particularly the sticky ribs and scenic outdoor patio. However, some visitors have criticized the golf course conditions, citing issues with compacted soil, damaged tee boxes, and rocky terrain. Overall, while the dining and event experiences are well-regarded, the golf facilities are noted as needing improvement.

Went to the Salsa Sal Pa' Fuera event. Salsa clss was excellent. Wonderful! Five golden forks to the chef for those scrumptious Asian Baby Ribs--best ribs I've had since I can remember. Had a really good bottle of Chardonay, as well. Under new ownership--Cesar Ruiz. Well done. Went to the Meet and Greet of the Mambo King's on 11/05/25. What a wonderful, delightful evening. The food, the drinks, the ambiance were great.

Went for "Sunday brunch". It was ordering off the menu, so not what we expected. The food was great though. Club sandwich with fries, sticky ribs, and chicken and waffles were all tasty. One amazing waitress was doing everything from bartending, to orders and delivering food with a smile and a very pleasant demeanor. She is a definite asset to the place. There were 2 large TVs with football playing but no sound.

My new favorite spot in Holyoke! We finally made it to Heritage Greens at Wyckoff Country Club in Holyoke, MA and wow, what a vibe. If you haven’t been yet, imagine sitting on a huge outdoor patio, drink in hand, looking out over the lush green golf course fairways. It’s peaceful, scenic, and for a moment, you forget you’re right in the city. Inside, there’s a beautiful full bar, stylish décor, and plenty of comfy seating, but we grabbed a table outside because that patio view was exactly what I needed in my life that day. We started with a couple of craft cocktails (so good!) and shared th…

Sunday brunch... The menu and prices were fair. Server was very inexperienced, we asked if there was an expresso machine, she said yes ordered a cappuccino and an orange juice. She came back 10 min later with the juice and stated we don't have an expresso machine. So we ordered coffee, + 5 min to get sugar, the orange juice was warm and tasted terrible ( sent it back ). We ordered the Homeade hash and the meat scramble. Food was sub par, 1 piece of unbuttered toast, raw bacon and overcooked brown eggs ,when asked for butter she came back with two frozen pads of butter. The corned beef hash was l…

Wife and I went for late afternoon lunch to sit out out on the massive deck on a beautiful fall day. We started with the wings which were sauced perfectly. Crispy, and the right temperature. We then had the fish and chips which was phenomenal, 2 good size pieces of crispy fish on top of hot french fries. Service was great and the future of this club is looking great. Heritage Greens at Wycoff is run by Andrew Hybrow a well established chef and owner of other restaurants.

On this day “The 4th of July” I wanted to take my lovely bride for lunch at Wyckoff Country Club. The add I have states: Independence Day party, patio party live Music, burgers and dogs. Free Entry. Bring your family and friends. The guitar player was great! The burgers and dogs and sausage grinders were $12.00 for one only. The hot dogs were normal 6 inch hotdogs. The burgers were your normal frozen patties. The sausage grinder was not a whole sausage. It was sausages sliced up small quarter inch pieces of sausage with onions and peppers. The sausage roll was very tough. My wife called it shoe…

Went to brunch at the new Heritage Green Tavern at Wyckoff. The southern influences of Shrimp and grits or Chicken and Waffles added interest and flavor to the menu. Open to the public, you dont have to be a golfer to enjoy the restaurant and its views.

The soil is so compacted and hard that it's like hitting off concrete throughout most of the course. The tee boxes are destroyed and you'll be lucky to find a spot that still has any turf to hit off of. Some of the greens are in good shape, but a good number of them have about 50% grass coverage and the bald spots are dry, cracked, hard soil. Most of the sand traps are unplayable as they're filled with stones and rocks. So many areas, whether it's the heart of the fairway or the rough or the tee boxes or the greens, just lack turf and all you're left with is rocky terrain, hard compacted s…

I think it is a work in progress. The greens had been berated this week. They still rolled good. The rough is way too long. Causes slow play looking for balls just off the fairway or green. Felt like a U.S. Open qualifier. Needs a bit of TLC. Hopefully it will reach it's full potential
