Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club is praised for its beautifully maintained courses, challenging layout, and stunning setting against Saddleback Mountain, making it a desirable venue for both golf and special events. The club's staff receives high marks for professionalism and creating a welcoming environment, with amenities like a well-appointed clubhouse and excellent dining options enhancing the experience. However, some guests have experienced issues with event coordination and food quality, indicating occasional lapses in service consistency.

Course layout is amazing. Fairways are quite long, and many ups&downs. Greens are quite big but super hard. It’s not easy to read the breaks and green speed is quite fast. Overall, this is a great course. One last thing! If your handicap is over 10, I recommend a white tee box. :)

Choosing Coto de Caza Club for our wedding was hands down the best decision we made. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was the perfect venue. The stunning surroundings, gorgeous architecture, and breathtaking views created an unforgettable atmosphere. Every inch of the venue, from the beautiful ceremony space to the chic reception area, was thoughtfully designed and gave our wedding that dream-like feeling we had always hoped for. What really blew us away, though, was how smooth and stress-free the entire experience was. From our very first visit to the final goodbyes at the end of the n…

Nice place to play golf, if you play golf. I, however, do not play golf. I was here for a charity golf tournament. Every staff member that I encountered was very polite and friendly. The course looks like it's very well maintained. The clubhouse is air conditioned beautifully. The men's locker room is very nice as well, with high-end soaps and nice paper towels. I almost wish I was a golfer so I could play the course.

Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club is one of the premier private club experiences in all of south Orange County, and I've taken clients here many times when touring the Coto de Caza community. The two championship golf courses are beautifully maintained and set against the rugged Saddleback Mountain backdrop in a way that is genuinely dramatic. The racquet facilities are top-tier, the clubhouse dining is excellent, and the overall sense of community is exactly what families looking to relocate to this part of OC are seeking. As a broker who sells extensively in the Coto de Caza guard-gated commu…

I attended a football banquet. It was dark so I couldn’t see much other than the inside of the facility. Very pretty Christmas decorations inside and out. Clean and smells good. Every employee I came across was ever polite. The banquet was outside near the restaurant area. There were heat lamps but it was still freezing! The only negative thing I can say is the food was bad unseasoned spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread was hard the Caesar salad croutons was old and hard the only thing that tastes decent was the mixed vegetables. Go heavy on seasoning please!

This club is pretty amazing. I played golf here years ago and the course is beautiful. The coolest thing I didn't know is that the men's locker room has a full service bar along with the big screen TVs and seating. If I lived in Coto it would certainly be likely I would want a membership to the club! I was happy to be a guest there again!

This review is for the golf course only. Dated October 2nd 2020 . Two championship golf courses at this private club, a South and North course. Review is for south course. The course condition were 7 out 10 , greens were great, very challenging, hard to read the breaks but not too fast. The course design was fun, doglegs, elevation tee shots, uphill, downhill. The course was narrow on some holes from the tee box, high demand on driver accuracy. Some beautiful golf holes with water. Good experience!

Beautiful course. I explored the chipping and putting area and the range. Friendly staff. I was able to dine at their restaurant bar on a Friday night. Very crowded and happening with their happy hours special until 7pm. I got the lemon drop martini for only $5. Ceviche was ok. Too tomato base for my taste. Ahi tuna tacos are good. 3 per order.

Who doesn’t like playing golf on this beautiful course but watching the facility support a school fundraiser was pretty cool. There were speeches, a silent auction, helicopter ball drop and a round of golf for everyone. There were parents volunteering their time setting up everything for everyone to enjoy.

Golfed here once, great course with some very challenging holes. Course is in immaculate condition. Nice practice area. Make sure you keep your shirt tucked in or the fashion police will nab you.
