In summary

San Juan Hills Country Club is highly praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and beautiful views, making it a favorite among both local and visiting golfers. The bar and restaurant receive accolades for their excellent food, drinks, and service, often highlighted as a standout feature. While the venue is appreciated for hosting events and its lively atmosphere, some concerns are raised about occasional slow pace of play and a specific cart fee policy that has caused frustration.

I recently spent some time out on the course and at the clubhouse, and while the overall experience was great, there’s a clear standout here. The golf course itself earns a solid 4 stars. It’s a fun, challenging layout that is well-maintained and offers some beautiful views throughout the round. It’s definitely a spot I’d recommend to any golfer in the area looking for a quality local track. However, where this place truly shines is the bar and restaurant. If I could rate the 19th hole separately, it would be a 5-star experience without hesitation. The food was top-tier, the drinks were expe…

A FABULOUS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION for 12 under the olive trees next to the golf course was perfect in every way.The beautiful golf course view shaded by the olive trees were just we needed. The staff including David, Mark and our amazing server Morgan were on it from start to finish. Everything I needed was a yes with smiles on their faces. All of the attendees were so impressed by the good food, service and environment that they can’t wait to return. Thank you to all especially Morgan for this special day we will remember always! O

I recently played in a golf tournament at San Juan Hills Golf Club and was thoroughly impressed with both the course and the overall experience. The course was in great condition — well-maintained fairways, challenging yet enjoyable layout, and beautiful scenery throughout. Before teeing off, I had breakfast at the on-site restaurant and ordered the Avocado Toast — it was delicious! The portion was just right and full of fresh flavor. What made the dining experience even better was the friendly and knowledgeable waitress who helped me navigate the menu with ease. As I was leaving later that…

Truly a nice fine 🙂 👌 from the tips only 6317 yards, but it will make you work. Greens fast today hole 7 brand new was only slow hole with hole 12 temp green (can't wait to see when finished) over all a B+ day. Make time to have a meal while you are there 😀

What a well kept course. I rank this as one of the hardest, shortest courses I’ve played…and love it. The staff was friendly and accommodating, food and service in the restaurant was excellent and the course was in exceptional shape. If you’re in the area, this is a must play course…I know I’ll be back from Phoenix again to play it.

Course is in great shape. The bar/restaurant is very nice and the food looked good (didn't have any). The employees were all so nice and helpful. If you're visiting the area and want to get a round in, this is the place.

We used San Juan Hills Golf Club for our wedding venue. Stacey did such a fantastic job in managing the event from start to finish. Expectations and costs are very clear and laid out from the beginning. The service during the wedding and buffet food served was excellent and the ceremony site on the 1st tee is beautiful. Would recommend anyone to host an event here!

Great course, so tranquil and clean. Great 19th hole too with awesome food, drinks and entertainment. We caught a great blues band outside there last time we went. The fees are reasonable too!

~ Great fairway conditions, especially considering our current drought. ~ Greens are nice and undulating. Makes for challenging lines at times. Some greens had imperfections here and there, but overall didn't affect putts too drastically. ~ Sand is nice and soft, almost beachy. ~ Some of the staff are a bit surly, but for the most part it's a laid back course with a "semi-private" feel. ~ Nice driving range about 1/4 mile away down the road from the actual clubhouse and course. Putting green is by the clubhouse.

I really enjoyed this course. It really has everything you could ask for - a beautiful patio and dining area, great views, a nice putting green and driving range, an interesting layout, and a fair mix of easy, average, and difficult holes. The fairways are in good shape. The greens had just been punched, but looked like they were on target to be in excellent shape soon enough. There were two noteworthy issues. First, the most forward tees don’t offer much relief for lady golfers or high handicappers. On many holes they were just a few yards in front of the middle tees. Secondly, it took us a…
