First time playing this course, but I wanted to get to it all summer. We’ve had a great summer that extended all the way into October, but over the last week we’ve dipped into the 50s. I wasn’t ready to call it a season so I finally hit this course. To start we were early after learning the range closed 10/19. Is what it is. Had one of their $5 all-beef hot dogs and my partner got a reasonably priced beer. We practiced putting on the nice practice greens and they let us tee of 30 mins early. Amazing conditions for so late in the year. Everything trim and well maintained. Foliage was wonderf…

Hubby and I just finished a round and we had a great experience! The course is in amazing condition with beautiful views throughout. I really appreciated the practice facilities—they have a driving range & putting green to warm up before your round. I grabbed a tuna sandwich beforehand, and it was delicious! It’s a beautiful course. The pace of play was perfect, and overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable round. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

The course was fun to play, not too many challenges, but not easy either. The starter was happy to power trip, wouldn't let us tee off early with nobody around for at least 15+ minutes. Cart paths need SERIOUS work for the cost, not acceptable imo. Lunch was good, the hot dogs were large and immediately available. Fun course overall, but needs work. It was pretty empty for a Saturday afternoon.

This used to be a nice golf course. Definitely not worth the $79 to play. Greens are terrible and the pace of play was 6 hours. I've heard this place up for sale or sold. Take the money and close down!

Absolutely amazing golf! Incredible value since this would have easily been an $80+ course in Ca. Golfed with Wags (employee) and Pat’s (superintendent) crew really cares about this place.

This course is a true hidden gem among public Michigan courses. It has beautiful scenery and it’s a fair challenge. The major knock for this course is the pace of play. Tee times are scheduled 9 minutes apart from one another. Got to the course at 11:30 for an 11:45 tee time. We had 3/4 of our group there and they wanted to send us out early. Since our group wasn’t there they sent the group behind us our first. We were at the first tee box at 11:40 and didn’t tee off until 11:50. Took us around 3 hours and 15 minutes to finish the front 9 (no Marshall ever came out to speed up play). Stopped a…

Played 18 holes and enjoyed the layout of the course and differences between the holes. However, don’t know if I would justify paying $79. Cart paths are just in very rough shape and makes driving unenjoyable. Course was also very wet and a lot of puddles on the fairway. Hole 18 was complete blind hole and the longer grass continued much further that your ball has no shot to get through. With a few fixes the course would be great!

Overall enjoyed the course and it's in nice shape. But, the 18th hole is an embarrassment!! One of the worst holes I've ever seen. Blind tee shot to start. Tree in the middle is ridiculous. Then weeds are extended on left side so only good tee shot is narrow window to right, but can't see where ball lands. At a minimum, need a sign on tee with yardage to weeds, over the weeds left and right for strategy decisions. It's a terrible way to end a round and leaves a very bad last impression. Can't believe any course designer would ever admit to designing a hole like that.

Met with friends we haven’t seen in 2 years to enjoy a round of golf at Coyote today that turned out to be a fiasco. There was an event scheduled and we were told that we would be the last foursome on the course and that the event doesn’t start until 1:00pm and that we’d have no issues as no one is behind us. At the turn we were told that we have to be off the course by 1:00pm so we could either play on and skip some holes or else they’d give us a credit for 9 holes but we’d have to stop now. This ruined our day with our friends but we got off the course. Then we grabbed some drinks and were s…

Grounds were in good shape considering recent weather extremes. Could use some attention to detail. Trash bins at holes. Water for golfers throughout course. Trash in course picked up. Pro shop more inviting and engaging. Cart girls were absolutely professional and provided outstanding service.

Poor management/customer service - my friend called earlier today to ask about twilight rates. Was quotes 25 for twilight and we proceeded to make a 630 tee time. Check in was flawless, course play was moving, and course was in great shape. Problem comes to the guy behind the counter who stopped is from playing more than 9 holes because rain was in grand rapids. We clearly had 2 plus more hours of play and we weren't asking for or to complete 18 holes, but we were expecting to get twilight worthy of golf. Maybe 14 or so holes. Okay, so I know what your thinking, not that bad right? But it does…

Don't waste your money! Lots of other great courses around for the price they're charging on the weekends. I have Golfed alot of different courses in Livingston and Oakland county, this was my first time at the coyote, and I was disappointed to say the least. There was no professionalism in the pro shop from the greeting all the way through hearing the staff argue over who was going to take care of the over flowing ladies rest room which smelled as if I were using the porta potty on the course which btw were also equally as disgusting! The staff didn't explain the course or flag placement for…
