In summary

Hickory Hill Golf Club is appreciated for its challenging layout and suitability for beginners, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. However, some visitors express concerns about the course's maintenance, particularly the condition of greens and tee boxes, and find the pricing high for the quality offered. Additionally, there are occasional issues with customer service and equipment, such as overbooking and cart maintenance.

Been there forever. They keep it in good shape. There are some challenging holes like the long par 3's. Not as easy as it looks.

Used to be good for the price but now charging 26 dollars for 9 holes is absurd for the condition the course is in. 15-20 dollars max. Greens look like the surface of the moon and tee boxes are just straight dirt.

Oh boy… how do I even start. My family and I have been going to this course for years and have always had a fun time playing it. It’s a great course for the community and a spot where friends can gather and play a quick round of golf for a good price. Unfortunately greed has officially taken over and I’m extremely upset about this. To begin the tee boxes and greens are in terrible condition, you’re pretty much teeing off in dirt and never feel comfortable on the tee boxes because your feet are on uneven ground. Putting on the greens are absurd, you literally have to move your ball from side to…

Fun little course, especially for beginners. Wife was her first time. Front 9 was quick, back 9 took over 3 hours. Course was in fairly good shape

This is my home track but it has gone down a bit since the last time i played it. It is a fun 9 hole course but weeds and fairways were a little rough. I still love the par 3 we all claimed as the hardest in the area because of the slope on it. don't hit it deep or it won't stick.

This golf course is perfect for beginners like me, not to complicated and not so easy. First time there and really enjoy it, I will visit again.

Nice layout but not well maintained. It's November and wondering how garbage cans on each tee box are overflowing with beer cans. Still wondering how to tell the difference between the fairways and rough.

Really nice 9 hole course. We played it twice! Well cared for with an old school feel course.

First time there was this Saturday.. the cart I paid $12 extra for barely would start, not to mention my whole bag fell of the back of this cart on the first hole 3 different times because the straps would not lock. I feel like I paid extra for a below average course just to damage my clubs.. I tried BOTH sides for the straps and resulted in holding my bag every time I drove. For $27 for only 9 holes to have this bad of a cart? Ridiculous. Glad my clubs are not ruined completely from their lack of maintenance standards.

This course is what it is, a 9 hole course that is at best a beginners course. Unsure if they are under new ownership but they charge 20$ for 9 (40$ for 18) and you can play much nicer courses for 40$ and actually feel have a small challenge. The staff on hand the day we played had 0 personality or warmth and honestly helped us decide we will find a new course to play.

I called on a Wednesday morning and got a tee time for 10:45am Saturday. Upon arrival Saturday morning, I was told that they over booked and had scheduled an outing at 11am. We were told we could walk the course later that day because the outing required the use of all of the carts and that there was nothing he could do for us. Eventually he gave us a free pass for next time but it was Saturday and every other golf course is booked. It’s simple, we had a tee time 4 days in advance and they stood us up. Very poor customer service.

Play was quick but the course condition of greens and tee boxes are in bad shape. A bit pricey for the condition of the course.
